I must keep my eye on the finish line
In finishing the race, my light will shine

The race becomes long and hard at times
I will, on God's time, cross that coveted line

I can't run the race all alone 
I don't have strength on my own

Trusting in Him He lifts my spirits high
Growing stronger to meet Him the sky
