Daily Devotional: Our Father Knows Best
By Mark Waldrop
Romans 12:12 – Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
In life, we often face seasons of joy, affliction, and uncertainty. It can be tempting to feel overwhelmed when challenges arise, but as believers, we are called to a different path—a path of hope, patience, and faith. This scripture reminds us that no matter the circumstance, God’s hand is always guiding us.
God knows what is best for us. He asks us to be joyful in hope, trusting that He has a plan for our future. Even when afflictions seem unbearable, He asks us to be patient, knowing that He is working behind the scenes for our good. And He calls us to be faithful in prayer, constantly seeking His wisdom and strength.
When we trust that our Father knows best, we can find peace even in the hardest moments. Whatever you’re facing today, hold fast to the joy of His promises, be patient in the process, and remain steadfast in prayer. He is with you every step of the way.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for knowing what is best for me, even when I cannot see the way forward. Help me to remain joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer, trusting in Your perfect timing and guidance. Amen.
