Daily Devotional: Our Father Knows Best
Scripture Reading: Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Devotional Thought:

Life often feels like a puzzle with pieces that don’t seem to fit. Challenges, setbacks, and unanswered questions can leave us wondering how anything good could come from our circumstances. Yet Romans 8:28 reminds us of a profound truth: God is always at work for our good.

This verse doesn’t promise that everything will be easy or pleasant, but it assures us that God can use all things—even pain, failure, or loss—for a greater purpose. Like a skilled artist blending light and shadow, our Father weaves every detail of our lives into a masterpiece designed to reflect His glory and fulfill His purposes.

The key is trust. To those who love God and are called by Him, this promise brings peace. We may not always understand the “why,” but we can rest in the knowledge that God knows best. His plans are higher than ours, and His love is unwavering.

Today, reflect on how God has brought good out of difficult seasons in your life. As you celebrate this truth, remember that even in the midst of trials, your story is being shaped by His perfect hands.

Reflection Questions:
1. Can you recall a time when God worked
something good out of a hard situation?
2. How can you trust
God more deeply in your current circumstances?
3. What steps can you take today to align your life with His purpose?

Prayer:
Father, thank You for the promise that You are always working for my good. Help me to trust Your plans, even when life feels uncertain. Give me faith to believe that every moment
—good or bad—is part of Your purpose for me. Teach me to love You more deeply and to rest in Your perfect will In Jesus' name, Amen.
