Daily Devotional: Our Father Knows Best
By Mark Waldrop
Matthew 10:7 “And proclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’”
As we journey through life, we often wonder about the paths we take, the decisions we make, and the circumstances that unfold. In moments of uncertainty, it can be easy to forget that our Father knows best. He sees beyond the horizon, understands our deepest needs, and guides us in His perfect wisdom.
When Jesus sent His disciples out to proclaim the kingdom of heaven, He was reminding them—and us—that God’s plan is at work, even when we cannot fully grasp it. The kingdom is near, and it is our privilege to trust in God’s timing and His sovereign will.
We may not always understand why certain events happen or how we will accomplish the tasks ahead. But, just as a loving father provides for his children, God provides for us, directing our steps, supplying our needs, and preparing us for His divine purpose.
Today, take comfort in knowing that your Heavenly Father knows best. Trust in His plan, proclaim His kingdom in your daily walk, and rest assured that He will guide you exactly where you need to be. The kingdom is at hand, and He is with you every step of the way.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to trust in Your perfect wisdom and to proclaim Your kingdom wherever I go. Remind me that You know what is best for my life, and help me to walk faithfully in Your plan. Amen.
