I was reading my Bible just another quiet day, turning thin and holy pages in a simple, steady way.
But then a verse caught hold of me, soft as breath, yet strong as flame, and something deep within my heart would never read the same.
It wasn’t thunder, wasn’t lightning, no trembling earth beneath my feet just truth written long ago whispering, “Stop. Listen. Seek.”
The words were simple, but they pierced right through excuses I’d made, right through fear, right through pride, right into the space where prayers are prayed.
And suddenly the world felt clearer gentler, slower, realigned. I saw grace where I saw failure, saw His mercy redefine.
I closed the Book, but not the lesson His voice lingered in my soul, reminding me that one verse, one moment can shift everything and make a broken heart feel whole.
So now I turn the pages differently not rushing, but ready to see the next quiet miracle waiting where God’s Word meets me.
Psa 119:105Â Â Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
