My Bugger Picking Nose

Sometimes my Nose just itches deep inside 
I have to go in there and pull a bugger aside 

It’s not very pleasant for you to see
That’s why I try to hide 
That’s just between you and me

Once in a while, I see a little blood
That does turn my stomach 
It looks much like red mud

I was told not to when I was a little boy
But it brought me such great joy

So today when I Pick
I just bow my head
And try not to flick

Headed Home

When this life is Ore
And there is no more place to Roam
I’m going to be Headed home, Headed Home

The Trials will be over, 
No more work to be done

This race will finally be finished
When I cross that Line in a Run

All My Friends and Family
Will be Waiting for Me
As I hear them yell you’ve been set Free

Love and Joy will be Complete 
When we all sit  at JESUS Feet

As we’ve always said
No matter where we roam
There’s no place like Our Home

Bunny In The Snow

I’m just a Bunny in the snow
It’s very cold out you know

I can’t wait for Easter to get here
I know it comes every Year

It’s much warmer then
I can deliver Candy again

The little Kids can’t wait for me
They shout and are full of glee 

I’ll come hopping down the Bunny Trail
With lots of Candy in my pail

All the Children dressed in their Easter Best 
Will so Surely be Blessed

It’s Dinner on the Grounds

Do you remember Dinner on the grounds
I was a little boy
I used to run and play all day

There was always lots of good food
The more people ate. The more food there was
I was too young to notice at the time

After dinner there was singing in the Church
Gospel Music flowed from the windows
On Good Days Aunt Hattie would get to shouting

Us kids stayed outside and played not to create a disturbance 
We would pull ourselves up and look in the windows 

There were strange things going on as the people swayed back and fort to the music
I learned later it was called the Holy Spirit

What ever it was it was from heaven
Some said they got healed
From what I’m not sure
But they said it was a real cure 

Seems things aren’t like they used to be
I think Old Time Religion is good enough for me

Difference In Day & Night

What is the difference between day and night
It seems to be the absence and presence of light

In the daytime, we do not stumble or fall
Because in the light, we can see all

The night is quite different because it is dark
We have to have a lamp to reach our mark. 

If we make GOD a lamp unto our feet
We will not stumble or retreat

For he knows the backroads of life
And the safest path with no strife 

To keep us safe and from harm
Always be in his arms.

All day long

Praise Him Praise Him
HE is exceedingly Strong 

Praise HIM Praise HIM for HIs Majestic Greatness 
Praise Him In Wonderful Word and Song

Praise HIM Praise HIM for HIS  Loving Mercy 
That We walk with HIM with a new song

HIM for his Everlasting Faithfulness 
That we may worship all day long


Praise HIM Praise HIM for HIS Undying LOVE
Sending his SON JESUS from Above

Praise HIM Praise HIM throughout Eternity 
Giving His Overflowing Love

When I Hear his Voice

When I hear HIS voice
I kneel and pray

I bow my heart
To gain liberty 

HIS Love pours through me
Giving me unexplained strength
That sets me free 

HIS SON died on the Cross
To save you and me

He shed HIS Blood
Just for me to set Me free

HE gave New Life to Me
For here through Eternity

As I go through life and HE shares HIS LOVE
HE reveals HIS plan for me

When that day comes to meet HIM face to face
I will fall on my knees thanking HIM for his Amazing Grace and sing HIs Praises for Eternity

THE FLAG

The FLAG is not a piece of fabric
To be tossed around like fodder 
It’s a proud badge of courage to be carried with great honor

Its proud colors stand for all to see
Red is for valor those who died for you and me

White is for purity and innocence 
like in our children we see

Blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice persevered  for you and me

So when you salute the flag
Stand very proud and say

I know what you stand for
And I am very proud of you today

Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep

Now I lay me down to sleep I pray to the Lord, my soul, to keep
If I should die before I wake
I pray the lord my soul to take

This is all I know to say
For all, HE has done for me today

Words elude me
As his love includes me

His Love is beyond compare 
Leaving no words to share

The many things HE has done
I cannot express with my tung

LORD GOD ALMIGHTY 
I Bow down before YOU in the night 
I have peace within and feel no fright
