Psalm 27:1-2
"The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall."

Reflection:
Psalm 27 is a powerful declaration of trust in God's protection and guidance. David, the author, confidently proclaims the Lord as his light and salvation, his stronghold in times of trouble. These verses remind us that our Father knows best how to protect and guide us through life's challenges.

Reflection:
This verse from 2 Timothy offers a profound truth about our relationship with Jesus Christ. It encapsulates the essence of our faith: union with Christ in both His death and His life. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we symbolically die with Him, putting to death our old sinful nature. This death is not the end but a transformative beginning, leading to new life in Christ.

Our Father knows that true life is found in Jesus. By dying to our old selves, we are freed from the bondage of sin and given a new identity in Christ. This new life is marked by hope, purpose, and a deep, abiding relationship with God. It’s a life that reflects His love, grace, and truth.
