Word-Up Church

Word-Up Church celebrated its second Anniversary with dinner on the grounds
Oh, what great fellowship in the Lord
Oh, what Great Love that abounds

It can't be explained the tie that binds our hearts in Christian Love
We could all feel His Loving Warmth flowing from above

Such a good time; everyone full of Joy
Thank you, God, for giving us this time to enjoy

When the light of God shines in with His Truth
God continues Blessing us and our youth

God is very Happy today, the Word-Up Church is well on its way
He will never leave or forsake us
When with Him, we stay

Just bowing our heads and Thanking Him for the Blessings He gives each and every day
Thank You, God, Thank You, God; there are truly no words that can express our love today

We can only give back by sharing the Good News of Your Son Jesus with each other
Constantly Praying for our lost brothers

Ernie the Bee man

Ernie has a unique talent given by God
Looking after some of His remarkable creatures above the sod

The Honey Bee is often overlooked; without them, many things would not be available to cook

Keeping the bees in good health and from harm
Bringing a great reward to Ernie, never being alarmed

It takes a particular person to do what Ernie does
God entrusts him with His Bees because of his love

Freedom to Worship

We have many wonderful freedoms in this world today
None more important than the Freedom of Worship I must say

Worshiping the creator of our very being
Would be the most important and far-reaching

We should do our very best and pray to God every day
To see that the most valuable freedom does not go away

God works in mysterious ways His Wonders to perform
So that we might continue to worship through any storm

His Hand in Mine

Jesus holding a woman’s hand. Similar Images:
For many years I tried to walk alone
I seemed to stumble over every stone

Then one day, a buddy introduced me to a friend of his
I suddenly realized what real love is

Jesus came into my heart. I took his hand
He now gives me the strength to stand in a new land

No more years of stumbling or groping in the dark for me
His bright light now illuminates the path I see

With His Hand in mine, I will forever have the strength to continue the climb

Heading in the right Direction

Am I headed in the right or wrong direction
The path I take and the decision I make can bring me great protection

The right or wrong path is left up to me
the further I go and what I see
Do things seem to be getting better or worse for me

There is one rudder that will hold my ship steady on this rough sea
Faith in God through His Son Jesus, who died for me

The Last Dance

GLASGOW, UNITED KINGDOM – FEBRUARY 22: Senior Citizens take part in the Kelvinside weekly tea dance, 22 February 2005, Glasgow, Scotland. There are 11.22 million pensioners in the UK – 4.19 million men and 7.03 million women. The so called ‘grey’ vote will be important in the forthcoming election with all the major political parties canvassing for senior citizens votes. (Photo by Christopher Furlong/Getty Images)
I enjoy dancing and twirling around
Moving to the music, getting down

Dancing is primarily for young folks I say
The older you get the less you can sway

Reminiscing of the dances long ago
Renews my spirit wherever I go

The last dance is not too far away
Not knowing exactly which day

If not on the dance floor being only in my mind
Having a smile on my face remembering how kind

Closing my eyes in cold sleep
My last dance will accompany me

The bumpy road

The road seems bumpy at times
Hang on it will smooth out
Usually, the bumps come before major construction no doubt

Paving the road will surely improve the ride
Repairing your suspension will help you glide

A lot has to do with the road you choose
Playing follow the leader you may refuse

Taking the road less traveled is the best some say

Going the opposite of the multitude may bring you happier days
