When Jesus called the Disciples, they weren't reading the scripture or learning more about Him. 
They were going about their business. Their future seemed relatively dim. 

When they heard The Masters Voice, follow me. 
In an instant, their life changed. They received a glimpse of Eternity. 

Becoming close enough to Jesus to hear his call to me 
I put everything aside and bowed my head, exclaiming now I see

Take my hand and show me the way. 
My life turned upside down that Glorious Day. 

No matter where I go or what I say 
my soul is content in every way

When he touched me, there was no other choice except He leads the way
Daily surrendering my all to show His
Love again and again every day.

God has not called me to be a Great Religious Leader nor a Great Orator 
God has called me to do the best I can with what I have for Him each and every day

I try to do things my way. I want to be in charge
When I manipulate others, It makes me  feel so large

Finding my way on this road is to no travail 
Continuing to travel along leads me straight to hell

Making a u-turn changing my way to God’s way
Realizing with his life and blood, for my sins, He did pay

Giving me the freedom to merge my way with his 
The only perfect Heavenly road that's what the Bible says.

The stormy seas of life will come and bring much strife. 
I pray God guides me through them with faith beyond this life. 

Having Faith In God brings His Peace, Grace, Mercy, and Love. 
Far more significant than anything on this earth, sent from above. 

The question of the ages is, how do I make this connection with God?
The answer is so simple, walking with His Son Jesus along the path I trod.

I met a man along the road one day 
I forgot to ask him his name. I must say 

The words he spoke had significant meaning for me
It seemed to be because of the Great Love he had you see

I didn't want to leave when the road parted ahead
I longed for his love and his touch in the days ahead

Hearing of Jesus, God’s Son, from above
I now realize who the Man was with his Heavenly Love

Try what you might ask
I suspect most any task

Anything that will improve your life
All that will lessen the daily strife

No matter the outcome, it's admirable to try
With God's help, you will see success before you die

If I practice what I preach
It would be easier to teach 

If I have God and he is all I need
Why do I daily continue to plead

I should accept Him in His Word
Believing what I have heard 

He's everything to me; in every situation
True belief, no room for speculation

I tend to let him walk where I wish
Should I include the food in my dish

He satisfies every craving of mine
If I will only look for His Heavenly sign

Thank you, Lord, for fulfilling my every need
Teach me through your Sons Love. I no longer have to plead.

The bald lady seems a strange subject for a poem
Until you see the toll taken by their life and what chemo has done 

Once such a beautiful young lady with locks of flowing hair
Oh, how life has taken a toll. With much love, she had to share

A head without hair in no way hampers
The love she shares
The glow from the complexion of her face shows how much God cares
