A Spirit Not Broken

In a world not always kind, under skies sometimes grey,
Lived Reggie, a little dog, in turmoil's harsh sway.
His fur, as white as fresh winter snow,
Held a story of sorrow, more than most know.

Two months past, fate's hand gently guided,
To a soul in need, where love resided.
A cruelty endured, one eye lost, a spirit not broken,
In Reggie's heart, his resilience, a token.

At two, life's chapters, both bitter and sweet,
Found solace in kindness, a gesture so neat.
A new family's embrace, a haircut, a sign,
Of beginnings anew, where stars align.

On Sunday, the scissors whispered tales of rebirth,
Trimming away the past, revealing his worth.
And today, oh today, in the playground's embrace,
Swings cradled his dreams, in a serene space.

He soared through the air, with the wind in his fur,
A moment so pure, no past could deter.
He wanted to say hi, to the world, to the sky,
A simple hello, from a dog, once shy.

Reggie, the little white dog, with a heart so vast,
Teaches us love, resilience, a bond that will last.
In his eyes, a story, a journey, a plea,
To see beyond sorrow, and just let him be.

So here's to Reggie, a beacon of light,
A testament to love's unwavering might.
In a world not always kind, he found his way,
A cute little white dog, who had much to say.

A Journey of Faith

In the tapestry of life, so grand and vast,
God wove each soul, a spell to cast.
With freedom of choice in every heart,
A journey of faith, from the start.

Some choose the path where God's light shines,
A road of love, divine designs.
Others may wander, lost in the night,
Swayed by shadows, out of sight.

Yet, let us be carriers of the Good,
Reaching out, as we should.
To those caught in evil's snare,
Offering hope, showing we care.

For in the grand design, it's clear to see,
Good triumphs over evil, ultimately.
A battle fought with love and grace,
Leading every lost soul to a sacred place.

So, let our actions reflect the light,
Guiding all towards what is right.
For in the end, it's love that wins,
A force that forgives, and cleanses sins.

Together, let's stand, strong and true,
With every deed, let goodness flow through.
For in the tapestry that God has spun,
Good shall prevail, when all is said and done.

If My Cat Could Talk

If LittleBit could talk, what would he say?
Thank you for being my family every day.

Keeping me safe and warm, I'm most thankful for.
Taking me to the Vet when my paw is sore.

God sent me to you, and you to me.
To give us comfort and security.

If I go first, which I most likely will.
Meet me at the Rainbow Bridge.
We’ll all cross over the hill.

Feed My Sheep

In the heart of every believer, a commission rests,
Whispered in the sacred moments, when soul meets divine,
"Feed My sheep," He says, a testament of the quest,
A journey of love, from the vine to the wine.

This love, not made, but revealed in radiant beams,
The essence of God, through the Spirit, now ours,
Binding us to the Father, in the stream
Of a love so vast, it empowers and empowers.

Like Jesus, united with God in seamless grace,
Obedient, poured out for the world's embrace,
He sends us forth, His path to trace,
"In My love," He says, "find your place."

Peter's heart, once torn, now sees,
Love's true face, in the Master's peace.
"Not words, but deeds," the Savior decrees,
"Feed My sheep," in this, My love releases.

Among His flock, some lost, some stray,
Some with coats of pain, some fray.
Yet, God's love knows no dismay,
Through us, His love finds its way.

Prejudice and preference, we must transcend,
For in God's love, there's no end.
To every sheep, His love we send,
His commission, our mission, till the end.

Let not emotions, our hearts mislead,
For it's by His Spirit, His sheep we feed.
In every act of love, a holy seed,
God's love, through us, a river freed.

So, heed the call, let love be your creed,
For in feeding His sheep, we find our deed.
In every gesture, every need,
We echo Christ, in word and deed.

Jhn 21:17  The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.

 A Drop of Water

A drop of water, I cannot make
How many drops to fill a lake

The oceans deep and wide filled with countless drops You provide
The springs from the mountains overflow with tears You've cried

The God above who makes the water is the Potter who forms me
Combing water with the clay He breathes life that I may see

Thank you, God, for sending your love from Heaven above
That your Holiness through your Son Jesus shows Your Love.

I CAN” Do All Things

In the realm of hope, where light dares to dance,
Miracles whisper softly, born of more than chance.
They come in cans, not in can'ts, a truth so bright,
Guiding us through shadows, into the light.

"I CAN" echoes deeply, a powerful decree,
Through Christ who strengthens, we're set free.
Philippians 4:13, a verse of endless might,
In those words, our spirits take flight.

With faith as our shield, and His love as our sword,
There's nothing in this world we cannot afford.
To climb the highest mountain, to cross the widest sea,
"I CAN" do all things, for He empowers me.

So let this mantra be your guiding star,
A reminder of exactly who you are.
Capable, strong, through Him eternally,
"I CAN" face anything, with Christ who strengthens me.

In All Things Give Thanks

In every sunrise, in each setting sun,
In the silence of night, when day is done,
In the laughter of children, in tears that fall,
In all things, big and small, give thanks for all.

For the moments of joy, for the trials that teach,
For the love that surrounds, within reach,
For the breath in our lungs, for the beat of our hearts,
In all life's compositions, in its every part.

Give thanks for the storms, for they bring rain,
For the growth that comes, borne from pain,
For the seasons that turn, from spring to fall,
In all things, give thanks, through it all.

For the hands we hold, for the memories we make,
For the journey ahead, for each step we take,
For the stars that guide, in the night's deep thanks,
For it all, let gratitude be our endless chant.

In all things, large or slight, in every task,
Give thanks, for in gratitude, we truly bask,
A reminder of how, amidst rise and fall,
In all things, give thanks, and cherish it all.
