In all things, the divine plan unfolds,
As whispered in the verse that Heaven holds.
Romans 8:28, a guiding light,
Assurance that God's goodness shines so bright.
Within these words, a promise resides,
Of blessings woven within life's tides.
For those who love, with hearts open wide,
God's purpose manifests, an endless tide.
Though trials may come, and storms may roar,
In every challenge, blessings He'll restore.
For in the tapestry of life's design,
God's hands, the threads of goodness intertwine.
In moments of joy, or when tears cascade,
In both the sunshine and the darkest shade,
God orchestrates, with loving embrace,
His purposes, woven with wisdom and grace.
In every hurdle, a lesson to glean,
In every setback, a higher path unseen.
Through every loss, a gain yet untold,
In every sorrow, His comfort unfolds.
For those called according to His grand plan,
In all things, the Father works His mighty hand.
Through the highs and lows, the trials we face,
God's goodness prevails, His love leaves no trace.
So let us hold fast, in faith and adore,
The promise of Romans 8:28 evermore.
For in His boundless love, we can trust,
That God works for good, faithful and just.
May our hearts be anchored in this divine truth,
Knowing God's hand shapes our days, our youth.
In all things, His purpose will unfold,
For those who love Him, a story yet untold.

In the realm of rivers and lakes so wide,
A tale of anglers takes us on a ride.
Dr. Ron, once a professor esteemed,
Now a fisherman, by the water it seems.
With a cane pole in hand from an early age,
His mother's lessons set the fishing stage.
In Michigan's lakes, a world to explore,
Perch and Sunfish, his treasures to adore.
As time went by, his skills took flight,
Casting his line, seeking greater delight.
Northern Pike, Bullhead, and other fish too,
Each one is a challenge, a prize to pursue.
Across states and borders, he cast his net,
In Canada's waters, he would often set.
From Louisiana's Gulf, where the salt air roams,
To Florida's shores, where the sea whispers poems.
But among all the species that danced in his sights,
A love for Catfish burned bright, day and night.
The mighty Blue Cats, with their strength untold,
Captivated his heart, a passion they'd hold.
Alongside his son, a fishing team emerged,
Brad, his fishing companion, whose talent surged.
They were partners in angling, father and son,
A bond strengthened by the water they'd run.
Michigan and Gulf waters they did explore,
Freshwater and saltwater, they both did adore.
From the depths of Lake Barkley, their journey took flight,
Chasing Catfish and Stripers, their shared delight.
Together they cast their lines, side by side,
Patiently waiting for the fish to abide.
With each tug and struggle, a story unfurled,
A testament to the joy found in the fishing world.
Dr. Ron, and his son Brad, the angler
A duo connected by a love they both savor.
In lakes and rivers, they found their retreat,
Amidst the ripples of nature's symphony sweet.
So let their tales echo through time's endless stream,
Of fisherman's dreams and the bond they redeem.
Dr. Catfish and his son united as one,
In the pursuit of Catfish, their lifelong fun

What comes naturally in worldly realms
Is easy I must say
The natural acquisition of spiritual things is difficult for only by faith we can see
Praying to God every moment of the day and surrendering to the Love of His Son Jesus is the only way to bring my natural spiritual ability into play
Doing what comes naturally whether being a worldly sin or God’s Love and Grace from above
Will bring us either frustration or contentment in the things we choose to love

In the battles of desires, a war within our hearts,
Fights and quarrels arise, tearing us apart.
What causes this strife, this endless strife we see?
From desires unfulfilled, a longing to be free.
We crave what we lack, our desires consume,
In the pursuit of our wants, we seal our own doom.
Coveting what's not ours, we yearn and we strive,
Yet we fail to realize, our souls can't truly thrive.
We do not seek guidance, we do not humbly ask,
For the blessings we need, from the Divine's loving grasp.
Instead, we turn to violence, to settle our disputes,
In our restless pursuits, we trample love and truth.
But when we do seek, with motives pure and right,
Our requests may be granted, in God's wondrous light.
For selfish desires, that seek only pleasure's gain,
Shall find no solace, no relief from their pain.
Oh, adulterous souls, entangled with the world's charm,
Know that friendship with it, leads to spiritual harm.
Choosing the world as ally, we stand against our Lord,
Becoming enemies, forsaking His sacred accord.
Do you not comprehend, the jealousy of God's heart?
He longs for our spirits, to never stray apart,
He grants us boundless grace, in abundance and more,
But only to the humble, who on bended knee implore.
For God opposes the proud, those arrogant in their way,
But showers His favor, on the meek who humbly pray.
In the verses of James, wisdom's treasure is found,
In seeking God's grace, on humble knees we're bound.
So let us shed our pride, let us bow down low,
And in God's gracious presence, let His love freely flow.
For in surrender and submission, we find peace divine,
And in the arms of the Almighty, our hearts align.

That old clock standing in the hall
never missed a tick or chime that I could recall
Then one day it became silent
To look at its face it seemed to be smiling
An anostinushed look came over all of our faces
The winding of that clock was one of Grandamas many sweet graces
Grandma died about a month ago
That old clock longed for her touch so
She became tired and could live no longer I guess the same for the clock
We wound it as tight as we could but never another chime or a tock
We bowed our heads and said a silent prayer for Grandma in Heaven
and that old silent clock a reminder forever

Thank You, Lord, for the Blessings you have given me
Thank you most of all for Your Son Jesus you sent to die for me
Thank You, Lord, for the friends You have sent my way
For the Love that flows through your Son Jesus and is here to stay
Thank you for my family here on the BFN
That through reading the scriptures we may see you again and again
Thank You, Lord, for answering my prayers that I can see
I pray Lord that others may see Your Son Jesus in me
Beautiful times we share on this Net
When Your Holy Spirit Assends and gives us rest
Bowing my head and praising Your Name
I can't thank You enough for Your Love when Jesus came
Deu 28:2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:

A little taste of Glasgow I can remember from long ago
The Curley Cues from The Tastee Freez made my saliva flow
The "Dairy - O", A foot-long chili dog, and curly fries were hard to beat!
You could have very little money and get a lot to eat
The Big Boy from Jerrys Drive-in
Everyone came to cruise around again and again
The Hamburger from J.J. Newberry’s tasted so good
The ladies behind the counter gave you extra when they could
George J’s Mexican Burgers were at the top of the list
Followed only by the Chuckwagons at the Hospital we were so blessed
The Candy Case at Newberry's was Heaven sent
With too many visits off to the Dentist, I went
The old tastes from yesteryear are the best I must say
They bring a tear to my eye I wish they could have stayed
I thank God every day
For the memories He sends my way

What is a miracle? Is it really from God?
Maybe something I must start before being planted in the sod.
People see Miracles in different ways. Some think it has to be Grand overlooking the small.
Me, I try to look for them all.
If it’s from God large or small we should pay attention lest we fall.
My definition may be a little lax.
With this outlook, it’s much easier to relax.

Sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean in Folly Beach, South Carolina.
I long for the winds of yesteryear that warmed my heart by the Charleston Shore
The warmth of the sea blowing over me I will remember for evermore
Things were much sweeter then and quieter all around
If only I could feel those winds blow again what a beautiful sound
What a miracle I discovered today
Those winds are all around
In my memories, I can feel the warmth and hear the calming sound
Thank You, God, for my memories that last for evermore
Feeling the winds of Your Love on that Ole Majestic Charleston Shore

Life resembles the hands of a clock
Two move slowly and one fast with every tick tock
When I am young the hour hand moves so slowly
Thinking I'm so perfect and Holy
Middle age arrives the minute hand is moving faster now
I think I know and can explain everything somehow
My Golden Years have arrived I am speeding toward the finish line
Please, God, slow me down, more time I need, that the Crown will be mine
