Do you Love what you do, or do you struggle to get through
God is Love. Loving what you do, then God is alongside you
We seldom take time to pray. Dear God, watch over me each day
Praying, please, Dear God, hear me, do not turn your face away
He’s anxiously waiting to hear my humble heart ask
For the maker of the Universe, it is such a gentle task
He Loved me so much that He sent His Only Son to die on the Cross to erase my darkest sin
With this act of Love, Grace, and Mercy following His Son Jesus, I will forever live with Him
My earthly body will die and eventually fade away
My Spirit will soar to Heaven for eternity to stay

In moments of doubt, to my brothers, I plea,
To lift up their voices, in prayer for me.
For I know in my heart, I'd never have span,
This path that I tread, God's divine plan.
Through trials and tests, I faltered and swayed,
But their faith and their love, like a fortress, they laid.
With their prayers as my shield, I found strength within,
In God's guiding hand, I'd never have been.
So I thank all my brothers, whose prayers have unfurled,
The grace of the heavens, in this complex world.
In unity and faith, we'll continue to stand,
Embracing God's purpose, His divine plan.

Woke up one morning she left me that cold cruel day
Said she was going to Nashville to have a Hayday
My heart ached for months on end
Thinking pieces would never mend
Than a smile came strolling my way
I've never been happier I must say
She was the glue that bonded my heart together
Our hearts intertwined overcoming the stormy weather
Then one day snuggled up on the couch to watch TV
My eyes teared my old flame was on the Grand Ole Opry
My heart fluttered for one quick second
Then the thought came to me
I would not be happy today if she hadn't left on that cold cruel day

Prayer, not politics I heard the Speaker of the House say
It’s been too long coming waiting day after day
All the mass confusion and turmoil will this lessen or go away
If we fervently turn toward God and earnestly begin to Pray
There is only one way to discover if it will make our sadness leave
Putting into practice what we preach and pray we will less grieve
Pray for Godly men and women desiring to serve our country for you and me

Is this my Hometown? Where darkness and evil lurk around
Once a very calm and safe place for you and me
Now, turning into a grief-stricken bloody sea
The devil is on the prowl, knowing time is short
Fighting evil with Good gives much support
The only fear we have to fear is fear itself
Arming myself with Love from the Master Himself
Calmness and peace will protect my divine soul
