The cool quiet and the calm of an early morning dawn
The serenity of the moment brings to mind a Psalm
Psalm 131: I have calmed and quieted my restless soul
Awakening early to see Your Majestic Scenes unfold
How Great Thou Art, Oh Lord, Your Creation beyond words
Only explainable through the Heavenly sound of the birds
Thank You, God, for Your beautiful creation
That brings peace of mind and exultation

Inspired by John Becton
In the sky, a squadron strong and bold,
A hundred F-35s, gleaming gold.
Yet one dared wander far astray,
From the ninety-nine, it chose to stray.
But the military, with hearts so true,
Left the ninety-nine, their mission in view.
They searched the skies and land so wide,
For the one that chose to leave their side.
And when they found it, a lonely sight,
Their F-35 returning, late in the night
For in that moment, they came to see,
The one that was lost was meant to be
So, like the parable's lesson profound,
In unity and care, strength is found.
For the one that wandered, they cherished more,
In the skies of unity, they'd forever soar.

Have you ever had a meltdown hurling angry words erupting strong feelings?
Revealing emotions so strong there is no possible way of earthly healing.
A word flung in anger can never return.
Hitting its mark, you can hear the sizzle and burn.
Count to ten. Be careful what you say.
You never know who is packing today.

A little taste of Glasgow I can remember from long ago
The Curley Cues from The Tastee Freez made my saliva flow
The "Dairy - O", A foot-long chili dog, and curly fries were hard to beat!
You could have very little money and get a lot to eat
The Big Boy from Jerrys Drive-in
Everyone came to cruise around again and again
The Hamburger from J.J. Newberry’s tasted so good
The ladies behind the counter gave you extra when they could
George J’s Mexican Burgers were at the top of the list
Followed only by the Chuckwagons at the Hospital we were so blessed
The Candy Case at Newberry's was Heaven sent
With too many visits off to the Dentist, I went
The old tastes from yesteryear are the best I must say
They bring a tear to my eye I wish they could have stayed
I thank God every day
For the memories He sends my way

Uncle Jack has always been my best friend.
He stayed with me through my trials to the end.
What ever I was going through, I could depend on Uncle Jack
Then one-day things looked so gravely black
Poor Old Uncle Jack died that lonely day .
Now I have a better friend to help me along the way.
I found him by accident when I cried. I can't live this way.
Hearing my cry, He came into my heart that day.
Never alone, never alone. God's son Jesus came in to stay.
Now bowing my head and thanking him when I pray.
RIP, Uncle Jack Daniels

A very dark day in America today
A former president is being arraigned in court I must say
All persons carrying high responsibility
Carry equally high accountability
However, this moment in history plays out
In the minds of Americans, there will always be doubt

Family Motor Coach Association is the correct route to take
So many friendly people and deals to make your trip great.
Friends will become family you will always cherish
The love you will find along the way will never perish
The rallies you attend you will never forget
Loving Memories will last forever with no regrets
Tell friends and tell neighbors there is no better experience to be had
Choosing the correct road ahead, you will forever be glad

From the hearts of men, God carries out his plan
Knowing this very day since time began
From the desires of the heart spring the action in our plan
Caring out God’s desire for every creature in His plan

Our lineage is difficult to trace to where we are
No records exist beyond the rays of a star
Their dress was skins of many animals
Folklore says some may have been cannibals
Their Gods were Sun's rays by day and the glow of the Moon by night
Not being accustomed to the terms Holy or right
Chiseling their shelter high in the cliffs of mountains
Always in search of overflowing fountains
Gorging their stomachs with the food of animals that wandered by
Nature kept them alive. They did not know the word die
The only pleasurable feeling they had was the warmth of their skin
The warm rains, the golden rays of the sun beaming in
They had little emotion for life. Only relying on their existence
They had no conception of time or distance.
They knew a strange feeling we call love
They felt it flow from the mountains above
Their sighs and groans from deep within
They only knew the pleasure derived from their skin
If it weren't for our ancestors
there would be no you and me
It's not by luck we find ourselves evolving through eternity
