America Nothing Impossible

In America, the impossible stands,
As dreams take flight in determined hands.
Where mountains are moved, and rivers are crossed,
What once seemed impossible is never lost.

From fields of hope to the stars above,
Fueled by courage, faith, and love,
We dare to build, to strive, to create,
Defying the odds, reshaping fate.

Through trials faced and battles won,
We rise again with each new sun.
With grit and grace, we pass each test—
In America, the impossible is what we do best.

For limits bend to the will to try,
And failure fuels the will to fly.
Together we march, our hearts possessed,
By a vision where the impossible rests.

We Stand Tall

We stand tall, unwavering, proud,
Voices strong, our hearts unbowed.
With freedom’s light, we pave the way,
Americans bold, come what may.

Our flag flies high, its colors bright,
A symbol of courage, justice, and might.
Yet in our strength, we humbly see,
Our true foundation: divinity.

For we kneel to God and God alone,
The cornerstone of the land we own.
His guidance leads, His grace sustains,
Through every triumph, through every pain.

No throne of man, no worldly creed,
Can shape our hearts or meet our need.
We stand as one, united and free,
But bow to God, our destiny.

Americans strong, with faith in hand,
Under His watch, we’ll always stand.
With trust in Him, forever known,
We kneel to God and God alone.

With Love not Hate

Serve your politics with love, not spite,
With kindness guiding what is right.
For words of anger tear apart,
But love can heal a broken heart.

Let compassion shape your stand,
Extend to others a helping hand.
Debate with grace, not bitter blame,
For unity is the greater aim.

Hate may shout, but love will stay,
To build the bridges hate would fray.
The world needs voices calm and true,
Who seek the good in all they do.

So serve with love in every word,
Let hope be louder, always heard.
For politics, when love leads through,
Can change the world—and me, and you.

You Are Not Forgotten

Veterans day background. National holiday of the USA. Vector illustration
In battles fought, in scars they bear,
Veterans stand, a solemn prayer.
Freedom's price, they've truly known,
Their courage, a legacy sown.

Through wars and trials, they have stood,
A testament to brotherhood.
Our duty clear, to safeguard the gain,
For their sacrifice, not in vain.

Let gratitude be our heartfelt song,
For veterans brave, courageous and strong.
A pledge to keep the flame alight,
To honor them, both day and night.

Bridging the Divide

When politics rise and tempers ignite,
Let us not rush to argue or fight.
For family and friends are treasures we hold,
Worth more than opinions or stories retold.

Let us listen with patience, speak with care,
Set judgment aside, and show we’re aware
That beyond every view, every stance, every side,
Is a heart, a soul, a love that abides.

Hold space for the thoughts that differ from yours,
As if opening gently a set of new doors.
For behind each belief lies a life and a pain,
A story unseen, a hope or a strain.

Let kindness be louder than points to be scored,
With empathy found in each gentle word.
Agree to disagree if that’s what it takes,
But honor the bond that no quarrel should break.

In a world that divides, let us build a way,
To love past the lines that words can’t sway.
For when all is said and opinions fade,
It’s the heart and the love that will always remain.

Moral Leadership

The question of whether it’s better to have a moral leader advocating causes you dislike or an immoral leader advocating causes you like touches on the complex relationship between ethics, leadership, and values. Here’s a breakdown of the dilemma:

1. Moral Leader Advocating Causes You Dislike:
• A leader with strong morals and integrity, even if their causes conflict with your own, can often be trusted to act in good faith, consider different viewpoints, and make decisions based on principles. While you may not agree with their stance, their honesty and ethical conduct might foster a more transparent and accountable leadership, leaving room for constructive dialogue or compromise.
2. Immoral Leader Advocating Causes You Like:
• An immoral leader, even if aligned with your views, may compromise ethical principles to advance an agenda, possibly leading to harmful practices such as corruption, manipulation, or disregard for others’ rights. While they may advocate for causes you agree with, their lack of integrity can undermine trust and lead to negative long-term consequences, even for the causes themselves.

Considerations:

• Ethical leadership is foundational to maintaining trust, stability, and justice in society. Without it, even causes you support may be tainted by unethical means.
• Ends vs. Means: Do the ends justify the means? Supporting a cause is important, but if pursued through immoral methods, it can lead to unforeseen harm or undermine the very values you hold.
• Sustainability: A leader’s lack of morals may eventually destabilize their ability to lead effectively, while a moral leader, though advocating causes you dislike, may foster a healthier, more robust political or social environment.

Ultimately, a moral leader is more likely to govern with transparency, fairness, and accountability, even if their cause conflicts with yours. An immoral leader, though advancing agreeable causes, may erode trust, potentially doing more harm than good in the long run.

Your Vote is You

You are who you vote for, they say it’s true,
In the choices you make, your values shine through.
With each name on the ballot, a vision, a voice,
Reflecting the world you see in your choice.

You are who you vote for, a mirror of heart,
A part of the system, you play your part.
In the hopes you cast, in the trust you invest,
In a future you dream of, the one you think best.

You are who you vote for, in silence or shout,
A whisper of faith, or a scream of doubt.
But remember, in the end, the vote is more,
Than just a decision, it’s what you stand for.

The Christian Voter’s Guide

The process is vast, with the world in debate,
But God’s saving grace does not hinge on the state.
Parties seek power, they care for your vote,
Yet Christ’s love and mercy, they barely take note.

The pursuit of control can cloud what is right,
For the Christian’s calling is love in the fight.
Do not trade the Sermon for influence or gain,
For in that exchange, there’s little but pain.

If politics tempts you to judge or to hate,
Turn down the volume before it’s too late.
Bring salt, bring light, in this heated divide,
With grace, let the love of your Savior abide.

For splitting the Body over policies grim,
Is a wound far greater than any party win.
Vote with conviction, your conscience, and might,
But remember, it’s love that defines what is right.

More precious than victories, more lasting than fame,
Is a soul filled with love, glorifying His Name.

My Focus

In the days ahead, when choices loom,
And voices echo in the room,
My focus clear, my heart stays calm—
Not on the donkey or the elephant, but on the Lamb.

For earthly powers rise and fall,
Yet only One can rule them all.
The Lamb who gave His life for me,
Is where my focus needs to be.

The donkey brays, the elephant stands,
But neither holds my heart’s commands.
I follow not their fleeting plans—
My eyes are fixed upon the Lamb.

For in His grace, true hope is found,
In love and mercy, I’m unbound.
No earthly symbol, creed, or brand
Can sway my faith or change my stand.

So as the world debates and roars,
I’ll seek the One who opens doors,
My focus firm, my faith unshaken,
In the Lamb, my heart awakened.

The Election

The Election will come, the Election will go,
Promises made, but what will they show?
Will we be better off, or lost in the fray,
As leaders rise, then fade away?

Voices will shout, banners will wave,
But is it progress or just a charade?
Change on the horizon, or more of the same,
Who will we trust, and who’s to blame?

The Election will come, and soon it will pass,
Leaving us asking how long it will last.
Will hope be restored, or doubts still grow?
Will we be better off? Only time will know.
