From above, it seems a world long lost, A green-carved crown at history’s cost. A crater deep, a scar of flame, Half a million years, yet still the same.
One eruption, one fierce breath, From fiery birth to silent rest. Now trails of wonder wind the land, Where ocean, sky, and mountain stand.
Tourists climb, and stories stay, Where nature carved her grand display. Not just creation, but memory’s thread, Etched in the earth— Diamond Head.
Isaiah 26:4 (KJV) “Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.”
Temptation comes in subtle guise, A fleeting spark before our eyes. It whispers softly, “This won’t harm,” A cunning voice, a fleeting charm.
It promises joy, it paints things bright, Yet leads us far from God’s pure light. What glitters soon will fade away, Leaving regret where hope should stay.
But in the storm, God’s Word is near, His Spirit speaks, His voice is clear: “Resist the foe, and he will flee, My grace is strong, lean hard on Me.”
No trial is greater than His hand, He gives escape, a way to stand. So walk with faith, keep guard, take care, For Christ has conquered every snare.
For God’s Honor and Glory — Mark C. Waldrop
James 4:7 (KJV) “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
The gifts we hold are not our own, They’re seeds of love the Lord has sown. Grace received is grace to share, A call to kindness everywhere.
Our blessings flow like streams of light, To lift the weary, make wrongs right. For what God gives is never less— We’re blest to bless, so others bless.
Genesis 12:2 – “And I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.”

Selfless service, the soldier’s creed, A call to answer in time of need. At West Point’s gates, they learn to give, To guard the land so others live.
The willingness to serve, a noble start, Discipline forged, with courage of heart. Yet even the strongest must bow above, For higher still is Christ’s great love.
West Point trains with duty in mind, But Christ laid down His life for mankind. One may teach how to fight and defend, The other—how mercy and grace never end.
Both demand sacrifice, steadfast and true, Yet Christ’s love redeems, makes all things new. So honor the service that soldiers impart, But know perfect love flows only from His heart.
Mark C. Waldrop
John 15:13 (KJV) “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
The Day of the Lord is already on its way, Drawing nearer and nearer with each passing day. Trumpets will sound, the heavens will shake, The righteous will rise, the sleepers awake.
No shadow can hide, no darkness can stay, For His light will pierce through and chase night away. Be watchful, be ready, hearts steadfast and true The Day of the Lord is coming for you.
Our life begins, a block of stone, Cold, unshaped, and all alone. But in His hands, rough edges fall, The Master Carver shapes us all.
He carved my eyes, He formed your face, Breathing in life, redeeming with grace. From lifeless rock to living souls, In Him we find our truest roles.
For without His touch, we’re just undone, But with His work, we shine as one. An eternal witness, steadfast and true, God’s enduring symbol—me and you.
I was crucified one day in a most horrible way. There were three of us that day. I deserved what I got The man in the middle did not.
When I got to Heaven, they asked me why I was there. I had no deeds to show, no Scripture to declare. They asked me once more why I had come. I had no answers, no merit, none.
Then the silence was broken, a voice pure and true: “The man in the middle—He said I could too.”
So here I stand, not by works of my hand, But by grace undeserved, in the promised land. Not for my record, my effort, or good, But only because the Man in the Middle said I could.
Just as the trapeze artist, high in the air, Leaps with a trust beyond all compare, Reaching with faith, no fear in his heart, Knowing strong arms will do their part
So must we reach with courage untold, Extending our arms to the One who holds. Our God will not falter, His grip will not cease, He offers His children a refuge of peace.
He will never let go, He will never grow weak, His strength is unending, His love what we seek. Through the gift of His Son, His mercy shines through, And His peace will sustain in all that we do.
No eye has seen, no ear has known, The wonders God calls His own. Beyond the reach of mortal mind, A treasure eternal, vast, divine.
The world may dream of wealth and fame, But heaven’s glory outshines the same. For those who love Him, pure and true, God’s prepared a life brand new.
And yet His Spirit makes it clear, Reveals the truth while we are here. The deep things hidden, now made known, Through Christ, the Word, the Cornerstone.
So live with faith, be bold, be strong, For in His grace, you can’t go wrong. With heaven’s promise as your home, For God — go big, or never roam.
1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
