Power

There is power in the Blood
There is power in His Word
There is power wherever he is heard

His power saves
His power heals
His wonderful wonderful power reveals

There is love in his light
There's is love that is so bright
Love that gives calm in the night

When the end draws near
Our hearts have no fear
As His glorious face we shall see

Arriving on that far off shore
Resting in His Love forever more

What’s the difference

What’s the difference between then and now
Many things have seemed to change somehow

Time has changed many things, as indeed does
Often it happens so quickly that it creates a buzz

The main difference in me between then and now
Is finding my Creator through His Son Jesus somehow

A friend that had found Him introduced me
Oh, the difference His Love and Joy made, setting me free

If you haven’t found him, today is the day
For you see, tomorrow may never come our way

Just bow your head and prayerfully say
Dear Jesus, come into my heart this very day

The Key

Don't be like me; that's the key.
There's only one man I follow you see.

Following any man will lead me astray.
For only the Son of God, Jesus knows the way.

Whatever happens, Jesus cares.
Talking to him relieves my many fears.

The calmness He brings with the touch of his hand
Brings me sweet peace in this foreign land

No matter what happens in my stormy life
talking to Jesus calms the waters and brings less strife.

Relationship

Relationship changes over the sand of time
From when I was born till the golden stairs I climb

Whether a happy marriage or divorce
Happiness many times I tried to force

Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before.
That's what makes my life worth living for

No matter what comes along in my daily life
keeping my eye on Jesus brings more
happiness and less strife

The moral of this story I do tell
looking inside and deepening the well
