If you could see what I see

If you could see what I see, the Love of God He sent to me.
Not understand how He has given His Son to set me Free.

My sins are forgiven, cast into the deepest sea.
Thank you God for Your Love You have given me

Now that I understand that God loves me so.
I'm obligated to pass it along wherever I go.

To share with others the most brilliant light I've ever seen
His Precious Son Jesus is in control of everything.

With Him, Understanding here on earth and in life after death,
Thanking God, for His Loving Son Jesus, with my last breath.

Difficulty

I have difficulty with others not seeing what I see.
It's all in God's loving plan, it's not meant to be.

On the road with His Son Jesus, there are many Glorious Sights to see.
There are many interests in what God's Love brings to you and me.

God blesses each of us in many different ways.
It's in direct correlation with how we show our love and pray

You reap what you sow, the Bible tells us so
The next crop you plant, fertilizer with all the Love, God will bestow.

Why He Picked Me

Of all the apples on the old apple tree, why did God pick me?
Did I look a little redder, a little juicer than the others he could see?

Having no control over what I am, I'm so thankful He chose me.
Others were left for a later time, it's all beyond me.

It's what our Father wanted for His Banquet table.
The prettiest the best the most glorious for all to see

Thank you, God, Thank you God for picking me.
Oh God picks the Best for His Banquet Table for all his friends to see

Sometimes I think it's something I should do or it's left up to me
It's all in my Father's Hands, the plan he has for me.

If I stay watered and fed in the Spirit of his love,
He will always have his eye on me.

Raining Sunshine

Photo by Mark Mengelt October 26, 2022
Have you ever looked for Raining Sunshine?
Never a more Glorious sight, than I could find.

Physical sunshine, seen rising early in the morning.
Spiritual Sunshine, may come without any warning.

Whichever physical or spiritual, that you may be seeking,
the dawn of the day and the dawn of your life is surely breaking.

Realizing the wondrous Glory of Almighty God so Grand,
feeling the urge to grow closer, not beginning to understand.

The Vastness of His Love

The Vastness of His Love cannot be measured by any earthly means.
We may only get a glimpse through Glorious Heavenly Scenes.

There is more love than our minds can comprehend.
Our Spirit feeling, the Abundant Love flowing from within.

How do we measure the immeasurable?
Only by vague reference to the inconceivable.

The key to this Vastness of His Love comes from Faith alone.
Never grasping the true concept of the
Illusive unknown.

God sent his Son Jesus to open the door to His Love.
It is all based on Faith in Him and His Pardon from Above.

The Team

What kind of team are you on today?
I hope it is a team you enjoy I pray.

Are you an owner, coach, or player?
Whatever your position, pursue it with much prayer.

There are many positions on a team.
It takes the giving of all, to reach your dream.

Owner to waterboy and all in-between
It takes practice, patience, and love to produce a Championship team.

A Crisp Autumn Day

A Crisp Autumn Day, enticing aromas filling the air
cool breezes flirting with my stringy auburn hair

Leaves, like a rainbow shimmering in the radiant sunlight
Fills us with overflowing joy, to our heart’s delight

God’s little creatures, scurrying here and there
Sensing a time of urgency, for winter is near

The warm feeling on such a cool blissful day
Recalling fond memories, of where I used to play

Autumn will be short-lived, sprinting fast away
Making every magic moment linger, is what I pray

Hymns

Hymns reaching into the depths of our soul
Connecting every fiber, making us whole

Bringing back memories of earlier times
Often reminding us of church bell chimes

Hymns anchor our faith in God
Drawing closer, daily we are awed

The comfort from the music we feel
Bringing us peace and time to heal

Old hymns will never fade away
Entwined in us, leaving earth one day

Guilt

What makes us feel guilty you might ask
It is how you feel, after doing a wrong task

You can carry the guilt and strife through the rest of your life
It is better to cut it loose with a very sharp knife

Jesus is a two-edged sword, the Bible says
Ask Him to come in, letting the deliverance be His

The burden will be lifted, a new Joy in your heart
Feeling His Love, you will never depart

He Came to Me

He came to me to set me free
That His Glorious Love I might See

Not deserving that he die for me
His love completely overwhelmed me

My task in life is to spread the word
That the Holy Gospel may be heard

Nothing earthly can save man from sin and strife
Only Jesus's Great Love, can give eternal life

Oh the Loving Joy that comes within,
when we open our hearts and ask Jesus in

Since it is by faith, we come to know him
We often overlook, because our sight is dim

When our hearts turn from the things of this world
His Glorious Love will slowly start to be unfurled
