Do you know someone that has a cold heart
The more you talk, the further you grow apart
There's just one thing that will melt that old heart
That's the warmth of GOD’S Love flowing from your own heart
It may take a while if that old heart is frozen like a block of ice
They may have it insulated and not want to get rid of it at any price
The warmth of GOD’S love can penetrate any shell
It can keep people, from going into the pits of hell
Patience is the key I must say
Always keep praying and loving anyway
When the right time comes the ice will start to melt
The warmth of his wonderful Love will be felt
A gleam will finally show in their eye
when they realize that JESUS did not die
Now that you both have a mutual friend
You can talk and share GOD’s Love again and again

I know a man, whom I will not reveal
They seem to squeak when they turn their wheel
They have a very large ego always talking about themselves
Everything is much bigger on their shelves
Quickly to correct and scold, they don't seem to be interested in what you've told, it seems to be on earthly gold
Oh, something just came to my mind
The individual I'm describing is not very kind
Another thought just entered my head
The one I'm talking about turns my face red
Oh, now that i have written this, i see
The change must begin with me

Oh the tragedy that befell the nine of Emanuel EME Church
Wherever we look, there is no answer wherever we search
Pure evil was on the prowl that day
Crushing the hearts of many
Is it possible that forgiveness from GOD'S Love could come from any
We've seen from the ashes of destruction
GOD'S Pure Love ascending from above
Forgiveness comes from many family and friends
Can only be understood from the Love of GOD within
For where the bright light of Love abounds
There is no room for the devil on Heavenly Ground

Why do some people require so much attention
Is it because their lonely, or have some issue they forgot to mention
I know it just makes me feel better to have someone to talk too
Talking to a friend always keeps me from feeling blue
If I can't find a friend, almost anyone will do.
It may have something to do with talking your feelings through
The next time someone wants to talk and they are bothering you
Take time to listen, it might be the best for the both of you

Which day do you set aside to do
Sunday is the most common day to attend church
Many people go there without worshiping much
Worship comes from the feelings of the heart
Only GOD knows the real feelings that we impart
A Saint told me one day when I asked when you take time to pray.
GOD watches me every second of the day. My whole life is a prayer I would say.

Have you ever been so far from home
that your heart ached deep inside?
No matter which way you turned or looked you felt like you had died.
The longing to return home took over your thoughts.
You felt like every fiber of your body was tired in knots.
There was only one remedy that you could see.
Heading home to fill the emptiness in me.
Our souls inside, feel the same longing to return home.
It confuses us for we know not from where they come.
Once we find where the longing soul calls home.
We have peace within, never more to roam.

Charging our battery becomes commonplace.
When we start the car, automated charging takes place.
Our life is much the same way, running down and needing a lift.
Seeking a retreat, where we may discover the much-needed gift.
Our souls are fashioned in much the same manner.
When we feel tired and run down, we need to tend to the matter.
How does one refresh their weary soul, you might ask?
Coming closer to God I think, would be the desired task.
The path to God is a mystery, having been pondered for years.
Reading your Bible and praying would be the answer it appears.
Coming closer to God will provide the much-needed power.
Your lack of energy will start increasing by the hour.
Once you are all charged up and ready to go
Your many blessings from God will start to flow.

Some days I feel a little different, some days as Happy as can be.
I've found pleasing others is not the best answer for me
Being seen a little different in the eyes of others
Certainly doesn't change the unconditional love of my mother
If I tried to be something I'm not, that's a lie that could never be forgotten
This would only lead to much distress, in my heart, I would feel much forgotten
If you can't be true to yourself you can't be true to others
This is the only way to have perfect peace in life, I tell you, my brothers
