I'm sorry it's so, I'm obliged to go
I can't stay in one place very long you know 

I have to keep traveling on down the line
Happy as I can be, I'm feeling mighty fine

My momma done left me,the kids are all grown
I ain't got no reason to stay at home

Free as a bird, not two pennies to rub together
I feel like the richest man on this earth ever

I'm out of jail, the whole world is mine
All I need is just a big ole bottle of wine

We're all gonna die somewhere makes no difference to me
I ain't got nobody to spend no money to bury me

When I lay my head down for the last time
I just thank GOD iv’e been blessed all this time

You don’t capture a snarling dog with a whip and rocks
We need to realize that the old dog has had many hard knocks

You lure him in, with something he likes. 
He may take the bate even if he wants to bite

Trust will come after many many days 
It has to do with forgetting the old ways

When Love shows up after trust is gained
He will never again, have to be restrained.

Are we becoming stronger as time passes by
Are we becoming weaker, do we stop to ask why

When troublesome times creep upon us
We should stop and listen to GOD least we fuss 

It is only through heartache and hardship   
 That experiences in life bring us to worship

Through such close Worship to GOD alone
Will, we only find the peaceful road to HIS Throne

Growing old

As we grow old, our minds start to wonder a bit
Looking for a more peaceful time, where is it

It may be long ago, it may be very near
Wherever we choose to find it, we will have no fear

No matter what the case, its only God's way of easing our pace
For God knows the best way, to prepare us for the end of the race

 Rags or Riches

Whether my body lives in rags or riches I do not care
For they are only earthly things that bring despair 

Worth more than riches is the LOVE of Our FATHER Untold 
For only LOVE will Last. It's the only thing through Death we will Hold. 

When our bodies grow old, our eyes grow dim
The Bright LIGHT of Heaven emerges from within

Beholding our Dear Saviour’s Face, we shall see
For Eternity, we have been set free 

Praising HIM Forever and Forever with the LOVE we Hold
Is Our Greatest Gift from GOD, Greater than the Purest Gold

The Majesty of HIS LOVE and GRACE cannot be imagined 
We are only set free of death from GOD’S Loving Compassion
