I went to the Lord in prayer one day And what did he say Nothing I could hear anyway I kept asking every day I had no response But I felt closer along the way Then one day I came close enough to touch his hand His love flowed through me. I could not understand I cried with Joy and saw what He had planned Every Day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before Every Day with Jesus he will reveal more and more
When Tragedy befalls and we don’t know why We can only have Faith and look to the sky Our hearts ache for the families it has touched Our prayers go out to those who have been crushed The tears that have been shed. What is GOD’S Plan for You and Me It’s leaving it up to HIM You See We can try to solve Our Problems with no Avail We need to lean on GOD and let HIM prevail So if I want to know GOD’S plan for me The closer I come to HIM, the clearer I will see

I’ve got tears in my oatmeal since you went away I’ve got tears in my oatmeal I cry every day I long to hear your voice. I pray all the time My tears fall like rain from all the pain. I’ve got tears in my oatmeal. It’s Ruin My Day All I do is fill up the Ole Ashtray. My oatmeal doesn’t taste like it used to It’s way too salty through and through If I could change things somehow I would even have a cow I’ve cut out my drinking and running around I’ve even cut out acting like a clown I would give anything to have you back I would even go to Church and sit in the back I reckon it’s too late now. I got what I deserve I didn’t see it coming.
