The Old Homeplace
Brings back Memories
Of yesteryear gone by
Children laughing and playing
Grandma’s cooking
And the warm breezes blowing by
Good Memories are cherished forever
How they make time fly
The Old Home Place sheds a tear in my eye
The old hound dog that slept on the porch
The squirrels up in the trees
The colorful leaves rustling in the breeze
Good times are never meant to be forgotten
Only cherished with time gone by
That’s why I’ll always remember
The Old Home Place
Of times gone by
