It brings memories of being last selected for most ball teams
I pretended it didn't Matter, but it shattered my dreams. 

After the game began, there was so much childish fun 
I had forgotten the selection process as I began to run

It matters not what team you are on; only do your best. 
That's the only requirement to pass the test

Being on God's team is undoubtedly the best
He never picks last and always gives you time to rest

You're always a winner if you listen to the Coach
You will always look at life with a new approach
