Do I tell it like it is
Do I fudge in what I say

Do I ask God to direct me all the time
Lord, help me tell the truth today

For if only the truth I say
The reality in Jesus is the only way

Thank you, God, for giving me the words
Truthfulness will set me free as a bird

I bow my head and say
Thank you, God, for the strength you give today
