Hearing the chimes of time in my heart
From my Almighty God, I will never depart 

The closer I get, the clearer the sound
Oh Lord, I know I'm Heavenly bound

The Majestic music welling up in my soul
Givings an incredible feeling of Divine control

As my time grows shorter here on earth 
excitement swells for my Heavenly birth

Approaching that far off distant shore
Feeling His warm Love more and more

The closer I get, the clearer I see
There's my family waiting for me

The songs of praise can’t be explained
Hearing the sounds of a crystal refrain 

Thank God, Thank God I've won the race 
Only being redeemed through Jesus' Grace

Home, at last, Home, at last, unable to explain the glorious feeling within 
Bowing my head, thanking God for His Son, Jesus, who bore my sin.
