In shadows deep, where demons hide,
A battle rages deep inside,
Addiction's grip, a cruel demand,
Yet love persists, it takes a stand.

To judge not those who bear this weight,
For someone loves, it's not too late,
To offer grace, a helping hand,
To guide them back to solid land.

So let us learn, with hearts so wide,
To empathize, to be a guide,
For in this darkness, love can cope,
And give the strength, the gift of hope.
