A flash of darkness surrounding me
Amidst the bright light, I used to see

The lack of light I was accustomed to 
Brought an eerie feeling into my view

Light glows brighter from others I see
Looking inward brings darkness to me

Pushing the flash of darkness away
Starts with serving others I must say
