In the heart of the night, under the watchful sky, Stood a figure, both humble and high. Confidence in their stride, humility in their gaze, A paradox, living, in so many ways. Not a mountain too steep, nor a river too wide, With confidence, they'd always stride. But in victory's glow, or defeat's harsh chill, Humility whispered, "Be kind and still." For every step taken on life's winding road, They carried both lights, as their code. Confidence to dream, to dare, to leap, Humility to learn, to listen, to keep. In the dance of the stars, or the sun's bright rise, They found strength in being wise. Knowing when to roar, and when to be quiet, Finding balance in the internal riot. So this is the song of the humble and bold, A story of warmth in the cold. For only together, do they truly shine, Confidence and humility, intertwined. March 16, 2024 Created by MarkWaldrop
