Daily Devotional: Our Father Knows Best
By Mark Waldrop

Verse of the Day:
"Isaiah 41:9-10 - I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant'; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Reflection:
The words of Isaiah 41:9-10 bring a profound sense of reassurance and comfort. Our Father, who knows us intimately, has called us from the farthest corners of the earth. He has chosen us to be His servants, affirming that we are not rejected but embraced in His love and purpose.

Our Father Knows Best:
God's selection of us is not arbitrary; it is a deliberate act of love and purpose. He knows the paths we will walk, the challenges we will face, and the triumphs we will achieve. His wisdom and plans are far greater than our own understanding, and His guidance is rooted in His perfect knowledge and love for us.

Do Not Fear:
In the face of life's uncertainties and trials, fear can easily creep in. Yet, God's promise to be with us is a powerful antidote to fear. He assures us that we do not need to be dismayed because He is our God. His presence brings strength, help, and support, lifting us up with His righteous right hand.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling us from the ends of the earth and choosing us to be Your servants. Help us to trust in Your wisdom and not be consumed by fear or dismay. Remind us daily that You are with us, providing strength, help, and support. Uphold us with Your righteous right hand and guide us according to Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Action Step:
Today, take time to meditate on the fact that God has chosen you and is always with you. Write down any fears or anxieties you may have and offer them to God in prayer. Trust in His promise to strengthen and uphold you, knowing that our Father knows best and will never leave you.
