Daily Devotional:
Our Father Knows Best
By Mark Waldrop

Scripture
Isaiah 42:16 “And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them.”

Scripture provided by Tom Lykins

Reflection
In our daily walk, we often encounter paths shrouded in uncertainty and moments steeped in darkness. It is easy to feel lost and overwhelmed when we cannot see the way forward. However, this powerful verse from Isaiah reminds us that even in our blindness, God is our guide. He knows the path ahead, even when we cannot see it.

God’s promise is clear: He will lead us through the unknown, turning our darkness into light and smoothing out the rough places. This divine guidance reassures us that we are never alone, even when the journey seems treacherous. Our Father knows best; His ways, though mysterious at times, are always perfect and designed for our ultimate good.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing guidance. When I feel lost and cannot see the way, remind me that You are leading me. Turn my darkness into light and make the rough places smooth. Help me to trust in Your perfect plan and to follow wherever You lead. I find comfort in knowing that You do not forsake me, and I place my trust in Your hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Application
Trust in God's Guidance: When faced with uncertainty, take a moment to pray and reaffirm your trust in God's guidance. Remember, He knows the path even when you do not.
