Daily Devotionals: Our Father Knows
By Mark Waldrop

Scripture:
Isaiah 59:1
"Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear;"

Reflection:
Isaiah 59:1 is a powerful reminder of God’s unlimited ability to save and His attentive ear to our cries. This verse reassures us that no matter the situation, our Father is both willing and able to help us. His hand is never too short to reach us, and His ear is never too dull to hear our prayers.

Sometimes, in the midst of our struggles, we may feel that God is distant or unresponsive. Yet this scripture firmly counters that feeling, reminding us that God's reach and attentiveness are infinite. He is always capable of intervening in our lives, bringing salvation, deliverance, and comfort exactly when we need it.

Understanding that God’s hand is not shortened gives us confidence to trust Him with every aspect of our lives. No problem is too big, no situation too complicated for Him. Our Father knows our needs and is fully capable of meeting them. His power and love are boundless, assuring us that we are never beyond His care.

Moreover, God’s ear is always open to our prayers. Whether we are whispering a quiet plea or crying out in desperation, He hears us. Our Father knows our hearts and listens attentively to our concerns. This assurance encourages us to maintain a consistent prayer life, bringing all our worries, hopes, and needs before Him with confidence.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your limitless power and constant attentiveness. Help us to trust in Your ability to save and deliver us in every situation. Remind us that Your hand is never too short to reach us and that Your ear is always open to our prayers. Strengthen our faith and encourage us to come to You with all our needs, knowing that You are always there for us. Amen.

Thought for the Day:
Trust in God’s unlimited power and constant care. His hand is never too short to save, and His ear is always open to your prayers. Our Father knows and is always there to help and support you.
