Daily Devotional: Our Father Knows Best
By Mark Waldrop

Scripture:
2 Timothy 3:16-17
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

Reflection:
In these verses, we are reminded of the divine origin and purpose of Scripture. Every word is inspired by God, providing us with wisdom and guidance. The Bible serves multiple purposes: it teaches us, reproves us when we stray, corrects our errors, and trains us in righteousness. Through Scripture, we are shaped and molded to become complete, equipped for every good work that God has prepared for us.

Our Father, in His infinite wisdom, has given us His Word as a comprehensive guide for living a life that pleases Him. It is through engaging with Scripture that we grow in our understanding of His will and develop the character needed to carry out His purposes. Just as a craftsman uses tools to create a masterpiece, God uses His Word to refine and perfect us.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Help me to value and cherish the Scriptures, allowing them to teach, reprove, correct, and train me in righteousness. Equip me through Your Word to be complete and ready for every good work You have set before me. Guide my steps, shape my heart, and strengthen my faith through the power of Your Word. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Action Step:
Set aside time each day to read and meditate on a passage of Scripture. Reflect on how it teaches, reproves, corrects, and trains you. Consider keeping a journal to note your insights and how God is speaking to you through His Word. Let the Scriptures shape your thoughts, actions, and character, trusting that our Father knows best and has provided everything you need for a life of purpose and fulfillment.
