Daily Devotional: Our Father Knows Best
By MarkWaldrop

Scripture:
Psalms 34:4 - "I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears."

Reflection:
In our walk of faith, there are moments when fear grips our hearts—fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of loss. These fears can be overwhelming, causing us to doubt, hesitate, and even lose hope. Yet, in these moments of uncertainty, we are reminded that our Heavenly Father knows best.

The Psalmist shares a powerful testimony in Psalms 34:4: *"I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears."* This verse is a gentle reminder that no matter what we face, our first and best response should be to seek the Lord. When we turn to Him, He not only hears us but also delivers us from the very fears that seek to consume us.

God’s understanding of our needs, concerns, and fears far surpasses our own. He sees the bigger picture—the ultimate good that He is working in and through our lives. Our Father doesn’t just provide temporary relief; He offers true deliverance that comes from placing our trust fully in Him.

Whatever you are facing today, know that God is already aware and is waiting for you to bring your fears to Him. Seek Him with a sincere heart, and trust that He will answer, guide, and deliver you according to His perfect will. Remember, our Father knows best, and His plans for us are always rooted in love and wisdom.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your unending love and wisdom. Today, I bring my fears before You, knowing that You are my deliverer. Help me to trust in Your perfect plan and to seek You in every situation. I believe that You will guide me and lead me away from fear and into Your peace. Thank You for always knowing what’s best for me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
