Man’s doctrine rises, bold and loud,
With clever words to please the crowd.
It shifts like sand, it fades like mist,
A fleeting spark the world can’t resist.
But time will test what man has made,
And every lie will soon decay.
Philosophies and prideful schemes
Will vanish like forgotten dreams.
For only One is tried and true—
Eternal Word, both old and new.
God’s holy law, His sovereign way,
Will stand when all else fades away.
The winds may howl, the nations fall,
Yet His commands outlast them all.
Not one decree shall pass in vain—
His truth forever will remain.
So build your life on what is sure,
The doctrine holy, just, and pure.
Let man’s opinions drift like clay—
God’s divine doctrine is here to
Stay.
