Daily Devotional: Our Father Knows Best
By Mark Waldrop

Titus 2:13 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.”

As believers, we live in the tension between the present and the future. We navigate daily life, yet our hearts are anchored in the blessed hope of what is to come—the glorious return of our Savior, Jesus Christ. This hope isn’t just wishful thinking; it’s a confident expectation based on the unshakable promises of God.

Our Father knows best, and He has given us a hope that transcends the troubles and uncertainties of this world. Even when circumstances seem overwhelming, we can look beyond the present to the glorious future He has prepared for us. The appearance of our Savior is certain, and in that moment, all things will be made right, and His kingdom will be fully revealed.

While we wait, this hope transforms how we live. It fills us with purpose, peace, and perseverance. It reminds us that no matter what challenges we face, our Father’s plan is unfolding perfectly. He knows the beginning, the end, and every detail in between. We may not know when Christ will return, but we can trust that it will happen at the exact time God has ordained.

Today, let the hope of Christ’s return fill your heart with joy. Trust that your Father knows best and that His promises are true. Fix your eyes on the future glory that awaits and live each day in the light of that blessed hope.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the blessed hope of Jesus’ return. Help me to live with anticipation and confidence in Your perfect plan. Strengthen my heart as I wait, trusting in Your wisdom and timing. Amen.
