Chosen by God

        Chosen by God

The sweetest girl on earth was a young lady named Mary,
Chosen by God to cradle His promise, gentle and wary.
In humble faith she listened, her heart open and still,
And answered Heaven’s calling with a quiet, trusting will.

No crown upon her brow, no riches to her name,
Yet grace adorned her spirit brighter than earthly fame.
Within her womb, Love stirred, the Savior of all men,
God’s mercy wrapped in flesh, sent to heal the world’s brokenness and sin.

O Mary, servant favored, your “yes” still echoes today,
A lesson in surrender, in trusting God’s way.

Luk 1:30  And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
Luk 1:31  And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.

For God’s Honor and Glory
