White As Snow
We just had a beautiful snowfall today,
A quiet reminder of mercy’s sweet way.
The earth dressed in white, so gentle, so new,
A picture of grace God shows me and you.
Scarlet once stained every burden and wrong,
Crimson weighed heavy, far too deep, far too long.
But Heaven spoke softly, “Come, reason with Me,”
And love washed the soul till the heart was set free.
Now white as the snow, every sin washed away,
As wool made so clean by His merciful way.
Each snowflake whispers what Scripture has said:
Forgiven, restored—by the blood that was shed.
Isa 1:18 “Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.
