The embalming room is a strange topic of conversation. Many hours of toil will bring much perspiration. Proficiency in training is required to accomplish such a task. How do l make them look so lifelike? The family would ask. There is a skill to everything I’ve been told. The compliments of the family are worth more than gold. With all the bad things that can come the embalmer's way, a whole lot of patience and a little water go a long way. The embalmer is a combination surgeon and artist, I must say. I am working extremely hard while keeping my emotions at bay. It takes a particular person with a Devine calling to succeed in this field. After many hours of service, numerous rewards I will yield. I am satisfied with the accomplishments that I cannot measure. I can only feel it in my heart, which brings great pleasure.
