Grandma has gone home to be with the Lord now. She left her Bible, a stronger testimony than the sweat on her brow The Bibles cover is torn and tattered from much use Its pages are wrinkled and worn; some have even come loose Every time I hold her Bible, I feel her spirit in my hand She and God's Word became one. How this happened is difficult to understand I know she is at rest in God's Love A promise God sent from above I cannot bring her back from the dead I can go meet her if I look ahead God's son Jesus promises me eternal life If I ask him in, I will certainly live with less strife November 29, 2022 Mark Waldrop
