I do what I have to do to continue Marching on
One foot in front of the other, moving right along 

Sometimes, being easy when things are going my way 
Other times, most difficult with no light, I begin to sway 

There is a common denominator that smoothes my path
Keeping my eyes on God’s Son Jesus brings less wrath
