Daily Devotional: Our Father Knows Best
By Mark Waldrop

Scripture:
Philippians 1:6 (ESV)
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Reflection:
In our daily walk with God, it's easy to become impatient or disheartened when we don't see immediate results from our efforts or when life's challenges seem overwhelming. Yet, this verse in Philippians reminds us that God is at work within us, shaping and molding us according to His perfect plan. He is not just a distant observer but an active participant in our lives, ensuring that the good work He started in us will reach its fulfillment.

God's timing and methods might not always align with our own expectations, but His wisdom far surpasses ours. Trusting in His process requires faith and patience. When we remember that our Father knows best, we can find peace in the journey, knowing that He is guiding us towards His ultimate purpose for our lives.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the assurance that You are at work in my life. Help me to trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when I don't understand. Give me patience and faith to know that the good work You have begun in me will be brought to completion. May I rest in the knowledge that You are guiding my steps and that Your plans for me are perfect. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Application:
Reflect on a time when you saw God's hand at work in your life, even if it wasn't immediately clear.
Spend a few moments in prayer, surrendering any areas of impatience or frustration to God.
Write down one way you can actively trust God's process today, whether it's through prayer, reading His Word, or an act of obedience.

Thought for the Day:
Trusting God's process means believing that He knows best and that His timing is perfect. Let go of your anxieties and rest in His promises, for He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you.
