Daily Devotional: Our Father Knows Best
By Mark Waldrop

Scripture: 2 Chronicles 16:9 (RSV)
"For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show His might in behalf of those whose heart is blameless toward Him."

Reflection:

In our daily lives, it's easy to feel unnoticed or insignificant. We might wonder if our efforts and struggles are seen or appreciated. Yet, 2 Chronicles 16:9 offers a profound reminder: God is always watching, not in a way that invokes fear, but in a manner filled with love and care. His eyes roam the earth, seeking to support and uplift those who remain faithful and devoted to Him.

God’s omnipresence ensures that no act of kindness, no prayer, no struggle goes unnoticed. He is deeply involved in our lives, ready to show His strength and provide for those who are wholeheartedly committed to Him. When our hearts are aligned with His, we can be confident that He is working on our behalf, even when we cannot see it.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your constant presence and unwavering support. Help us to keep our hearts pure and blameless before You, trusting in Your mighty power. May we always remember that You see us, You know us, and You are always ready to help us in our time of need. Strengthen our faith and guide our steps today and always. Amen.

Thought for the Day:

Trust in God's watchful eye and know that He is actively involved in your life, ready to show His strength and support whenever you need it.
