Daily Devotional: Our Father Knows Best
By Mark Waldrop

Scripture
1 Corinthians 1:30: “And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption.”

Reflection
In 1 Corinthians 1:30, we are reminded of the profound truth that it is because of God’s grace that we are in Christ Jesus. Through Jesus, we receive wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Each of these gifts is a testament to God’s infinite wisdom and His deep love for us.

Wisdom from God through Jesus enlightens our path and helps us make decisions that honor Him. Righteousness is granted to us, not by our works, but by our faith in Jesus, allowing us to stand blameless before God. Sanctification is the process of becoming more like Christ, a journey of growth and transformation. Redemption signifies our freedom from sin, bought by the precious blood of Jesus.

Our Father, in His infinite wisdom, provided a way for us to receive all these blessings through Jesus Christ. He knows our deepest needs and provides for them abundantly through His Son. Trusting in God’s wisdom means accepting these gifts with gratitude and allowing them to shape our lives.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption that I have through Jesus Christ. Help me to live in a way that reflects these gifts, trusting in Your perfect wisdom. Guide me in my daily walk, and let Your Spirit lead me closer to You. Amen.

Thought for the Day
Trust in the gifts God has given you through Jesus Christ. Embrace His wisdom, live in His righteousness, grow in sanctification, and rejoice in your redemption. Our Father knows best, and He has provided everything we need in Christ.
