South Carolina, the most beautiful state I have ever seen,
Yellow Jasmine, Palmetto Palms, the landscape a luscious green
The sea caps of the ocean that caress our shore
Wonderful aromas, from the sea,
I adore
Our state is vibrant and has a strong heartbeat of love,
Growing so fast with blessings from above.
South Carolina welcomes all, to find their niche within,
Having fun and fellowship with family and friends
Smiling faces and beautiful places describe the soul of our state.
As often said, “Nothing could be finer than to live in South Carolina”.

Does the mirror seem foggy, could it be clearer
Is there a person standing there that you know
Does that person seem distant to your soul
How does one make the image crystal clear
Within me, the answer is so very near
A crystal clear image will produce a clear reflection

At the Foot of the Cross of Jesus, where we once knelt
Whatever we need, can only be found, by the gentle Touch of the Master's Hand
With the completeness to fulfill our every desire, we will come to understand
His touch only comes as our journey leads us closer to Him

the older we get the faster they fly.
Some memories of yesterday seem so far away.
Others are as if they happened just today.
Difference between the two I'm not so sure.
It has to do with the pleasant memories, that are so pure.
The melting of pleasing moments in our minds.

Is there a Heaven here on this earth
Do we have to wait till we die
Is it possible to have enough Faith to see Heaven through our soul’s eye
The answer to this question, remains deep inside you

When you go to work day after day
What do you think of along the way
I always thought about, what was ahead of me
Most often, there were things I could not see
Problem-solving, was the most interesting time
Relying on past experiences, to try and make a dime
Little did I rely on the Creator of Mankind
Always thinking I could solve the problems, with my own mind
Only turning to ask for help from above
When I realized I had lost my love
An ounce of prevention, is worth a pound of cure
If only we would ask and not try to be so mature
Turning to GOD, is not a sign of weakness in any way
It's a sign of strength and perfection, in GOD’S Love every day

Delicious crisp waffles and Southern Fried Chicken
Turnips, Collards, Cornbread and beans, that's livin
The more you eat the better your tummy will feel
Just like Grandma stirred up for her next meal
The next family vacation you begin to plan
