 Amateur Radio

Amateur Radio is the greatest Hobby here on earth.
Making friends from all over the world
of untold worth.

Time traveling from your Shack to a distant place.
With your radio and a wire, you find yourself face to face.

Sitting back relaxing in your captain's chair.
Makes for many a good story told over the air.

If it's true friends are worth more than gold.
Then, my friend, you have found more love than your heart can hold.

At just the Right Time

At just the right time take time to pray
At just the right time don’t tarry or delay

At just the right time find the words that will help
At just the right time lend a hand to help

At just the right time lend a shoulder to lean on
At just the right time be there before time is gone

At just the right time share your Love for Jesus
For this is the only way, to keep the devil from seizing us.

Free as a Bird

Free as a bird that’s how I feel today
Oh the freedom I feel can’t be explained away

Freedom to Worship Freedom to pray
Freedom to do all good things today

True Freedom comes from GOD above
That’s the only place to find true love

Worldly love only lasts for a short span of time
That’s why we should rely on GODS LOVE all the time

 General Thomas J”  Stonewall” Jackson

The death of General Stonewall Jackson struck a terrible blow.
The South was left in mourning for a man they respected so.

His many victories brought much admiration.
To him, it came easy, where to place the levitation.

May 2, 1863, returning from an attack
The friendly fire turned a bright star black

It left a deep hole in the hearts of those that loved him best.
For the South, there seemed to be no needed rest.

The war seemed to turn, the morale of the troops had gone.
The shining light had been snuffed out just before dawn.

General Robert E Lee stated with much might.
Stonewall has lost his left arm, I have lost my right.

In the Arms of JESUS

When I Pray by night and day
I feel Safe In the Arms of Jesus

When I walk with HIM night and day
I feel safe in the Arms of JESUS

When I’m tired and weary and lay my head down to sleep
I feel safe in the Arms of JESUS

When I wake up alert and ready for the day
I feel safe in the Arms of JESUS

When I grow old and feeble
I feel safe in the Arms of JESUS

When I walk through the Valley of Death
I feel safe in the Arms of JESUS

When I reach That Golden Shore
I will be safe in the Arms of Jesus
Resting there Forevermore

Angel of Mayre’s Heights

Confederate Sergeant Richard Rowland Kirkland
On December 13, 1862, hundreds of soldiers lay dying in a field.
With mournful cries of pain, their fate was sealed.

Confederate Sergeant Richard R Kirkland spanned the bridge of love.
Bringing dyeing soles, water sent from above.

Both sides withheld their treacherous gunfire.
While the Angel of GOD carried out HIS desire.

A heroic deed was performed that dark day.
When just an ordinary man began to pray.
