Grandpa’s Shoes

Grandpa wore these shoes almost every day
Except when he put on His clothes for Sunday

Grandpa’s Old Shoes we’re Rough and Worn
The old crinkled leather was even torn

JESUS Said Come TO MY House Tonight
Grandpa was so very weak it only seemed right

When I think of Grandpa and these old Shoes
My Heart has a little touch of the Blues 

Then my heart swells with love In side me
Realizing that my Dear Grandpa has been set free

I miss Grandpa Very Much
Oh how I miss his strong touch

GOD LOVED Him more than tongue  can tell
That’s why HE Took him home with him to dwell

The best way to get out of My Power Bill I guess
Is to die out from under it if I’m so Blest

This seems strange to say
But there seems no other way

I’ve tried paying them all these years
They just keep coming despite My tears

There is Truly Light in Heaven Up There
With No Power Bill To Share

Do you know where your Children are late at night
The Thought of this gives me Great Fright

Only GOD Knows where they are that’s for sure
HE’S the only ONE That Can Protect them and Keep Them Pure

For It Is No Secret What He Can Do
He’ll Protect Them All Day and Night for You

Should I put my Trust In God Away Up There
Or in His SON JESUS HE Sent Down Here

That one is hard to figure out for Me
For I don’t want to misplace My trust You See

I look for Advice All around
I’ve turned to many preachers who seem very sound 

Some Light the Path Very Well
While Others Seem to be on their way to Hell

I was confused about what to do
Until the Light of His SON, JESUS CAME SHINING THROUGH

I Fell to My Knees and I said I See Now
GOD LOVED us So Much that he Sent US HIS SON 
SO THAT WE MIGHT LIVE FOREVER WITH HIM
AND BECOME ONE

What Should I Do

Should I be Boastful About WHAT God Hath Given Me
least HE takes it away from Me

I want to Brag on GOD for What HE’S Done
But I don’t want to Loose A Blessing One

I Guess The Only One to Ask is GOD HIMSELF
HE Has The Right To Give and The Right to Take Away

I Just Want His Will to Be Done
In My Whole Life’s Run

When peril is all around you
And everything seems to fail
Hold your head up high
Don’t Lose Heart

When you seem to make all the wrong decisions 
No matter what you do today 
Don’t Lose Heart

When you are at your ropes end
And you can go no further
Don’t Lose Heart

For there is A Gentle Savior that cares
He lives in your Heart

When you call on Him
He Changes Everything 
A new Life to you he will Bring 

That’s why You Don’t Lose Heart

Why are Biscuits so good
I don’t really know

I know they're made with flour, milk, butter, 
things that make you grow

Grandma always made them
The very best she could

She said it was the Love she stirred in
That's what made them so good

I’ve got a little feeling, that God played a part
Because they were made from the Love in Her Heart

Did you play together 
For hours on end

Did you confide in them
Knowing they would keep your secrets 

Only to grow older
And further apart

Was your only regret 
That you should have

Remained close friends
Never more to part
