I Lay Me Down To Sleep

I lay me down to sleep 
Pray the LORD, My Soul, to Keep 

Now Let’s see what I can take with Me
It’s so hard to choose
I Love it all don’t you see 

Maybe it’s my new car
With the New Car Smell
Or Maybe that is going to Hell

Or maybe it’s the House I just bought
But HE said he built Me a New Mansion I thought

Maybe I can take my Dog 
I Love so Well
He seems to Love Me More
Then anybody here where I dwell

It’s so hard to pick
But without this stuff, will I be homesick 

I Love My Family the most I Guess
I Pray they can go with Me
So that I may be Blest

Then I realize I have no choice to make
I Pray for only My Soul to Take

When you lay me down to Sleep
Do not Cry Do not Weep

For I am not their I am Alive and Well
Throw a Party that would be swell

Have all the Good Things I like to eat
Laugh and think of the Memories so Sweet

When you want to talk to me again
Look deep in your heart within 

I will Hear You and give you Joy Complete 
Because JESUS is with me 
And is Glory is so Sweet

Won’t You Be My Valentine 
I’ll be yours if you’ll be Mine

Valentines are very special
They are Friends hard to find

If You Find One Keep them Close
You may never find another 
For they will always mean the Most

You can confide in them with Your Heart
They will always Love You no matter what they hear
For between the two of you, GODS Love Is So Very Clear

As time goes by
Our Hearts Grow Larger
We often ponder their departure

We know when Our Valentine has to leave
It’s only for a short time
So we shouldn’t Grieve

For we will Soon be Together Forever
In Our Father’s Arms
Happier than Ever

Right or Wrong

Light or darkness how do we decide 
What is the measurement that should be tried

I suspect it is GOD’S WORD that we should read
Taking much careful time to prayerfully heed 

In HIS WORD the TRUTH is revealed 
It is up to us to discover what HE has willed 

For each one of us, he made us unique.                
In HIS Tailored Will, we will be made complete 

GOD’S WILL is so Vast and Strong
We can only leave it to HIM, to lead us in no wrong

I stand Amazed by what YOU do for me
I’m not Worthy of YOUR Presence 
I don’t understand I cannot see

It’s all in YOUR Plan
The LOVE YOU Sent down to Man

I’m not worthy of the love you give
Sending YOUR SON to die on the Cross
That I Might Live 

There’s no way to Pay YOU
For what YOU have done
Except to Love and Worship Your SON

Gideons are People Sharing GOD’S WORD
Distributing BIBLES whenever they're heard

My Dad was a Gideon when I was a child
I don’t remember much except his smile

The GOOD NEWS OF JESUS IS TRUTH and LOVE
Coming from OUR HEAVENLY FATHER ABOVE

When you consider giving GOD’S WORD away
Many people will accept JESUS some day

Freedom Of Speech

What is Freedom Of Speech
What does it mean to me

It’s Every Man’s right
To express his Inner Being
And Remain Free

With this GOD Given Freedom
Comes Great Responsibility 

The Two Great Forces of Love and Evil
Cry Out for this Freedom of Speech

The Darts from the Mouth
To the Heart that they may Reach

Spreading the Love Of The Gospel with this Freedom 
Will Set You Free

Spreading Evil and Hate  with this Freedom
Will Bind You and Send You to Hell
You See

GOD Gives us this Freedom of Which Road to Take
For it is only from Our Inner Heart
The True Choices We Make

So What is Freedom of Speech to Me
Being Mindful of what I Say
It May Determine My Eternity

The Potters Wheel

When you are all broken with no spirit inside
Call on the Master Potter To Come and Abide

For he can take an old broken pot
And make it New Within
No more cracks no more blemishes 
It’s sealed again

Life is like a Turing Potters Wheel 
Always Turning and Molding  us to HIS WILL
Always overflowing to help others find HIS PEACE to still

When this life is complete
My earthly pot will rest in sleep 
Its contents will be poured out at JESUS Feet

Oh how GREAT that day will be
When The MASTER POTTER I shall See
