I have s friend named Todd
His greeting is always a friendly nod

His profession he is eager to explain 
Serving as a policeman is not in vain

A better friend there could never be
As strong and sturdy as a Ponderosa tree

He is always willing to help his friends with every need
Even standing with you when your heart bleeds 

The Book of Truth says a good friend is worth more than gold
For they can continue with you after this life, I know

That being true, and that being the case
Todd and I will see each other after this earthly race

Till that time comes hoping many miles down the road
We will continue laughing and caring, sharing each other's load

Don’t stick your nose in my business

Stick your nose in the Bible, not your neighbor's business
For this practice does not bring righteousness 

Cast the first stone if you have done nothing wrong 
For this will not make the spirit of any man strong

The Book of Truth says to Love your neighbor as yourself
That being True, I would not want someone talking about myself

Joh 21:22  Jesus answered, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me."

I know what to do

I know what to do. Why don't I do it?
I don't do it because I can't chew it.

It seems too complex most of the time
Often confusing my simple mind

Where do I turn, or what should I do
Turn to the One that made me and you

Then you will do what you know you should do
Because God's Son Jesus will walk with you

Check the signs

Crossroad signpost saying this way, that way, the other way concept for lost, confusion or decisions
Check the signs of the trail you're on
Someone before you may have turned them around 
You might find yourself going the long way around

Always take a map with you no matter where you go
With this information the correct direction you will always know

The same can be applied to your spiritual life
God left you a map in the scriptures that will bring less strife

Do not follow the false signs of man
It's only through the scriptures you find you can

Thank you, God, for knowing what's in my future ahead 
Following your scripture, I will have peace on my deathbed

He has been so good

God has been so good to me. His blessings never end. 
As crowded as my mornings are, I ask God where can I be a friend.

He often surprises me with the answer I hear.
Following His directions, I'm happy with no fear.

A life lived for the Lord is never dull.
Serving in His will, my heart is always full.

The next time you don't know what to do, bow your head and listen. He will guide you.
