Have you ever been so far from home that your heart ached deep inside? No matter which way you turned or looked you felt like you had died. The longing to return home took over your thoughts. You felt like every fiber of your body was tired in knots. There was only one remedy that you could see. Heading home to fill the emptiness in me. Charging our battery becomes commonplace. When we start the car, automated charging takes place. Our life is much the same way, running down and needing a lift. Seeking a retreat, where we may discover the much-needed gift. Our souls are fashioned in much the same manner. When we feel tired and run down, we need to tend to the matter. How does one refresh their weary soul, you might ask? Coming closer to God I think, would be the desired task. The path to God is a mystery, having been pondered for years. Reading your Bible and praying would be the answer it appears. Coming closer to God will provide the much-needed power. Your lack of energy will start increasing by the hour.
