A Knock on the Door

A knock on the door I heard straight away
Someone crying May I come in today

Afraid to respond to them right away
Fearing they may want to extend their stay

The same annoying knock came day after day
Forcing response in an unwanted way

I cracked the door and what did my eyes see
The shining light of love standing before me

I cried out GOD Why have YOU chosen me
 You are made in MY Image can’t you see

I felt Warm LOVE I’ve never felt before
I wish I hadn’t tarried so long in opening the door

Orchestra for the LORD

If I were an instrument in your orchestra LORD
What kind of sound would I make

Would it be a pleasing sound
That HE would praise 

Or would I make a sound
That is out of tune with many delays

I pray that YOU would come into my heart
And tune me today

So that I may make a Joyful Noice
Oh  My LORD I Pray

Where Will I Be

What is the difference between Angels and devils you see
Just where they will spend eternity 

Do you feel like the devil
Are you going to hell

Or Are You full of the Holy Spirit
And In Heaven, You will Dwell

I think we should read our Bible every day
This will keep the evil one far far away

The Life of CHRIST

The Life of CHRIST is what I would like to see
So that I might follow in his footsteps and be set free

Where do I look for this life foreign to me
I suspect the scriptures would be the Key 

Another would be, one who has found the way
They can point you to HIS Footprints I Pray

When you see them in the distance afar
Don’t give up, Keep traveling closer to the star

When you reach close enough for HIS love to feel 
Bow your head and thank HIM as you kneel

Rope of Faith

When we accept Jesus Christ we are connected to God by a safety Rope
He will never let us fall

To get closer to him we have to climb the Rope of FAITH
We climb by reading His word
Praying 
Fellowship with fellow Christians 
Love others as we love ourselves 
Love others as CHRIST Loved us
Serve others as CHRIST Served us
Care for the Orphans and Widows
Uplift and take care of the poor
Mourn with those that mourn
Plus many others that Christ exhibited while here on earth

Are we satisfied where we are or
do we want to climb higher to feel his GLORY and WONDROUS GRACE

WE ARE NEVER AFRAID TO CLIMB HIGHER
HE WILL NEVER LET US FALL INTO THE FIRE

Four Seasons

The creator of the Four Seasons I would like to thank
Each one has a different reverence for the way we think

Spring gives us energy with the flurry in the air
Birds building their nests scurrying here and there

Summer is a wonderful time of year
A time to embrace the heat and work with cheer

Fall is a time of transition into winter
Enjoying all the fall colors in their splendor 

Winter is a perfect time for a new start
The glistening snow that  cleans our hearts

So what more perfect life should we desire
Then the Four Seasons that lift our hopes even higher

I Learned about Living

I learned to read the Bible
I learned who I was

I learned a little about JESUS and a lot about LOVE

The more I read the more I learned
If I followed HIM I wouldn’t have to burn

I kept my eye on him in the dim light
The closer I got it became so bright

I learned I don’t have to fight anymore
Living for GOD is no real chore

I have complete Happiness within somehow
When I turned and faced HIM here and now

I learned more about JESUS and more about Love
When I read HIS Holy Word sent from Above

You are being called to carry GOD’S Flag unfurled 

His Celestial  Army is on the move
To Show His Great Love for all to approve 

It’s Now or Never there’s no time to kill
Joining not you will see the gates of Hell

Rivers of Living Water where do you find them do you suppose. 

Their not found from the mountains or the valleys this we know

I think we should look inward to the Hearts of those that GOD Chose 

Whoever believes in HIS ONLY SON JESUS

Grandma

When you were growing up
Did no one seem to care 
Was there just one person, your burdens you could share

Was that person your Grandma, taking time for you
Always being concerned about what you were going to do

Grandma’s are overflowing with love from above 
That’s their calling in life, sharing GOD’S LOVE
