Believe in Your Dream

In the quiet hush of dawn’s first light,
Where dreams shimmer in the twilight,
Hold fast to the visions that you deem,
Do whatever it takes to believe in your dream.

Through the trials where shadows lope,
In the gardens of despair, still tend your hope.
Let not the tempest your spirit seam,
In the gale, clutch tighter your vibrant dream.

Forge ahead when the path is steep,
Where the nights are long and the rivers deep.
Let the stars above in the heavens gleam,
Guiding your steps with their ancient beam.

Amid the whispers of doubt, may you cope,
By the fireside of tenacity, kindle your hope.
With every heartbeat, let it stream,
Flood your world with the light of your dream.

So dance on the edges of the unknown,
Where the seeds of courage are silently sown.
Rise, for beyond the dire extreme,
Rest the bright morning of your supreme dream.

Half an Hour Ahead

In the quiet whispers of the twilight dim, Where shadows dance and chances slim, May a prayer on the breeze be softly said: “May you be in heaven half an hour ahead.”

Before the devil knows, before he sees, Before your soul sets upon the fiery seas, May you ascend where angels tread, In celestial peace, your spirit led.

Through the gates of pearl and streets of gold, May your name in the Book of Life be boldly scrolled. And as the heavens embrace you in their stead, May joy be yours, and no tears shed.

Let the harps pluck a melody so sweet, A serenade for your arriving feet. Among the saints and the martyrs, may you glide, Half an hour in heaven, with God at your side.

So when the final breath escapes in a sigh, And the stars above dot the navy sky, May you find the grace as your days conclude,In paradise found, in quietude.

For life is a journey through storms and through calm, May your passage be blessed with a heavenly balm. And as tales are told and your story is read,“May you be in heaven half an hour,” it’s said.

"May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead" is an old Irish blessing

No Hidden Cards

Tread lightly on the paths of the plain,
With the tools that you have, stake your claim.
For the hand you’re dealt is the hand to play,
No hidden cards, no secret sway.

Forge ahead with what’s in your grasp,
Bind your fortunes with a fervent clasp.
In the simplest stone there’s a spark to see,
In the barest branch, a hidden tree.

Craft your castle from the sand,
Work each grain with a steady hand.
The might of oceans in a drop of rain,
The endless echoes in a single grain.

Do the best you can, hold your ground,
In the humblest seeds, great forests are found.
For when you’ve nothing else but your own resolve,
You’ll find depths unknown that you can solve.

Hope that Blooms

In the quiet chambers of your heart, enshrine The sacred Lord, His presence divine. Let His radiance in your spirit dwell, A beacon in a shell, a silent citadel.

Be ever prepared, in each fleeting hour, To voice the hope that blooms like a flower Within your soul, where faith resides, With gentle words where His love abides.

To every seeker who questions your peace, Offer your reasons, let not your zeal cease; With meekness and reverence as your shield, Grace in your answers, His wisdom revealed.

In humble fear, yet with hearts aflame, Declare the glory bound to His name; For in the asking and in the telling, Grow the roots of faith, ever compelling.

Sanctify the Lord God in all you portray, Ready in spirit, come what may.
Give an account of the hope that’s yours, Through trials and tempests, which faith endures.

1Pe 3:15  But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect

Seeds of Kindness Sown

In the gentle weave of life’s vast tapestry, Where threads of our deeds stretch out endlessly, The truth rings clear, profound yet subtly: The more we live for others, truly free.

A heart that beats for more than self alone, Finds harmony in seeds of kindness sown, For in each act of care, compassion shown, A richer, deeper life is thusly grown.

In giving, we receive—oh timeless creed—The soul’s nourishment from every good deed. A life for others, a blooming seed, In gardens of eternity it leads.

So let your life by this truth be steered, A path less trodden, but by heaven revered, Where selfless hearts are by angels cheered, For living for others, life’s mystery cleared.

Thus, ponder on this quiet, solemn truth, In the vigor of youth or the wisdom of sooth: That life expands beyond mere earthly proof, In lives for others, forever aloof.

Answers Bloom Bright

Do not linger in the shadows of doubt, Where whispers tangle and fears clout; For your prayers, my dear, have found their way, Beyond the night, into the day.

Step forth from the threshold of hope’s gentle home, Into the vast gardens where you may roam; The answers bloom bright, with petals unfurled, In the quiet corners of this wide world.

No need to wait for the skies to part, Or seek the solace of another heart; For what you’ve sought in the silence profound, In your own two hands, is already found.

Go now, accept them, with grace and with peace, As the doubts you’ve held begin to cease; Your path is lit with the light of your creed, And in your bold steps, you are freed.

Upon Hope’s Gentle Wings

May the God of hope bestow His grace,
In folds of joy where fears displace,
To trust in Him, a steadfast embrace,
That peace may flower with gentle pace.

As rivers deep with currents strong,
Flow to the sea where they belong,
So may His Spirit guide along,
Our hearts to where celestial songs throng.

In Him, the wells of hope arise,
Beneath the vast, embracing skies,
Overflowing, as the eagle flies,
With strength that in the soul lies.

So trust in Him, let faith not part,
For joy and peace He shall impart,
By the Holy Spirit, from the start,
May hope forever dwell in every heart.

Thus in His power, our spirits soar,
With hope that’s boundless, evermore,
Through trials and tempests that implore,
We’ll stand unshaken, on Heaven’s shore.

Rom 15:13  May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

“I Am the Light of the World”

In whispered tones the Savior spoke,
Amidst the crowd, His voice awoke:
“I am the light of the world,” He said,
A path of light where His feet tread.

“Whoever follows, fear no night,
For you are promised eternal light.
Darkness shall not be your claim,
With me, you’ll walk in light’s own flame.”

In every word, a beacon bright,
To guide the lost through shadow’s blight.
Across the ages, these words echo strong,
In His light, we find where we belong.

Through trials and storms, His radiance gleams,
A lighthouse steadfast, in shifting streams.
In Him, despair finds hope’s renew,
In Him, the light of life breaks through.

So let us follow where He leads,
On paths where grace fulfills our needs.
Jesus, the light that never fades,
In His embrace, darkness invades.

With each step forth, hold this verse dear,
“I am the light,” let no heart fear.
For those who follow, know this grace:
In His light, find your sacred place.

Jhn 8:12  When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Solace in Prayer

In the quiet moments, prayer takes its flight, Beyond the bounds of day and deepest night. What words to speak, in reverence convey? Sometimes in silence, we must simply stay.

Prayer—a sacred dialogue with the Divine, Where soul meets Spirit, beyond the veils of time. Comfort in the whisper of my heavenly Guide, In whom, through storms and calm, I confide.

He knows my journey, every rugged mile, Sees through the struggles, meets me with a smile. In stillness, when I pause to seek His face, His presence enfolds me in an embrace.

So talk I may, or listen deep and well, In each act of prayer, my fears quell. For here within this holy, hallowed link, I find more answers than my mind can think.

What wonder in these moments we share, I find solace in the power of prayer. A bond with God, none can compare, In every whisper of my soul’s bare prayer.

Prayer is a Bird

In the quiet corners of your mind,
Where whispers mold the soul’s clay,
Pray as you can, not as you can’t,
In your own form, in your own way.

Let not the heavy chains of doubt
Snare the flight of your weary heart.
Embrace each whispered, hopeful shout,
From scripted lines dare to depart.

For prayer is not a sculpted stone,
Nor bound by iron creeds that blind,
But a river flowing from the bone
To the ocean vast of the divine mind.

Seek not the perfect words to sing,
That fit like keys in locks so tight.
Prayer is a bird on gentle wing,
Coursing through the soft veils of night.

Each stuttered breath, each silent tear,
A testament to the battles fought.
In the echo of our deepest fear,
Lies the purest prayer, divinely wrought.

So let your spirit, unrestrained,
Dance to the rhythm of your light.
Pray as you can, unchained,
For every broken word is right.
