I CAN” Do All Things

In the realm of hope, where light dares to dance,
Miracles whisper softly, born of more than chance.
They come in cans, not in can'ts, a truth so bright,
Guiding us through shadows, into the light.

"I CAN" echoes deeply, a powerful decree,
Through Christ who strengthens, we're set free.
Philippians 4:13, a verse of endless might,
In those words, our spirits take flight.

With faith as our shield, and His love as our sword,
There's nothing in this world we cannot afford.
To climb the highest mountain, to cross the widest sea,
"I CAN" do all things, for He empowers me.

So let this mantra be your guiding star,
A reminder of exactly who you are.
Capable, strong, through Him eternally,
"I CAN" face anything, with Christ who strengthens me.

In All Things Give Thanks

In every sunrise, in each setting sun,
In the silence of night, when day is done,
In the laughter of children, in tears that fall,
In all things, big and small, give thanks for all.

For the moments of joy, for the trials that teach,
For the love that surrounds, within reach,
For the breath in our lungs, for the beat of our hearts,
In all life's compositions, in its every part.

Give thanks for the storms, for they bring rain,
For the growth that comes, borne from pain,
For the seasons that turn, from spring to fall,
In all things, give thanks, through it all.

For the hands we hold, for the memories we make,
For the journey ahead, for each step we take,
For the stars that guide, in the night's deep thanks,
For it all, let gratitude be our endless chant.

In all things, large or slight, in every task,
Give thanks, for in gratitude, we truly bask,
A reminder of how, amidst rise and fall,
In all things, give thanks, and cherish it all.

Family Our Greatest Blessing

In the warmth of gentle smiles that never fade,
Within the bonds that time and trials have made,
Family stands, a fortress built on love and trust,
A haven where hearts unite, a bond robust.

Is the anchor in the tempest, the light in the dark,
A melody harmonious, in life's stark park.
The laughter shared in rooms filled with joy,
The comfort found in a hug, a gentle employ.

The greatest treasure, not measured in gold,
But in stories shared, and hands we hold.
In every whispered secret, every shared dream,
The strength we draw, together as a team.

Blessing, beyond words can ever convey,
In every dawn's light, every night's gentle sway.
In the love that surrounds, in the care that's bestowed,
Family, our greatest blessing, forever our abode.

A Masterpiece Chart

In the soft embrace of morning's light,
May this new day treat your heart with care,
Gentle whispers to your soul impart,
Comfort find you in the quiet air.

Let worries like autumn leaves depart,
Scattered far by the soothing breeze's art,
In their place, let hope's seedlings start,
Rooted deep within your beating heart.

May every moment, every part,
Of this day, a masterpiece chart,
In the canvas of life, you're a vital part,
With every stroke, let joy impart.

So rise, dear soul, with a hopeful start,
May this day in grace and peace be smart,
On your journey, may you always dart,
With lightness in step, kindness in heart.

Stand Tall

Today is the day,
Embrace it with abandon, stay true to your way.
Live your life, let kindness be your guide,
Fall in love with the journey, let happiness inside.

Create your joy, let it freely part,
Be courageous and wild, listen to your heart.
Make friends on each path, in every place you roam,
Believe in your power, make strength your home.

Fortitude your ally, in every challenge, you face,
Surround yourself with love, in this beautiful space.
Take chances, be spontaneous, in moments big and small,
This is your life, make it beautiful, stand tall.

A Single Soul

I may not hold the power to still the storm's wild swirl,
Nor command the tides of fate, their fury unfurl.
But if within my grasp lies a single soul to save,
That act alone lends me the strength I crave.

In a world vast and teeming, under the sun's grand dome,
I cannot claim the might to bring all wanderers home.
Yet if my hands, however small, can pull one from the fray,
It's there I'll find my purpose, it's there I'll make my way.

For every heart that beats, a universe of hope resides,
And in the smallest acts of kindness, endless love abides.
So, though I may not turn the tide of all humanity's cries,
In saving just one soul, a part of the world thrives.

Let this be my vow, my path through night to dawn,
Not measured by the many, but by the one I've drawn
From shadows into light, from despair to a new morn,
In that single act of saving, a new hope is born.

Rainbow Bridge

Just beyond the veil where earth and heaven align,
Lies the Rainbow Bridge, a realm where souls entwine.
A meadow vast, under skies of endless blue,
Where pets we've lost await, their spirits born anew.

Here, fields of green, where endless joy abounds,
Meadows and hills, with love that knows no bounds.
Food, water, sunshine, in abundance for each friend,
Warmth and comfort, a peace that never ends.

Those weary, sick, or aged, find youth and health once more,
The injured and the broken, strength they had before.
In dreams of days past, our hearts recall their grace,
Here, they find solace, in this serene place.

Yet, in their happiness, a shadow of a wait,
For one they loved, beyond the mortal gate.
They play in harmony, but some will gaze afar,
Yearning for the ones, their life's truest star.

And then a moment comes, a spirit sees their own,
Eyes alight, through fields of green, they've flown.
Racing heart to heart, as fast as wind can blow,
To the arms of their beloved, in love's eternal glow.

The reunion, a burst of joy, tears and laughter blend,
Kisses like rain, in moments that transcend.
Hands stroke fur, eyes meet with silent speech,
A bond unbroken, within loving reach.

Together, then, they cross, where Rainbow Bridge does end,
Into a forever, where spirits ascend.
Parted no more, in a land where love never dies,
Together, they journey, under heavenly skies.

Pay-Day Someday

In the realm of mortal choices, two paths starkly lie,
One cloaked in shadows, the other kissed by sky.
The "Pay-Day Someday" of each, a tale of end and start,
One leads to ruin, and one to the pure in heart.

For those who walk with Satin, in deceit's sly embrace,
Ignoring the call of virtue, and the light of grace.
Their path, though smooth at dawn, grows thorns at dusk's descent,
A journey toward a darkness, where regrets are never spent.

The "Pay-Day Someday" for them, a chasm wide and deep,
A realm of fire and whispers, where fears eternally creep.
For every choice of malice, for each act of disdain,
Awaits a reckoning, a ledger of pain.

Yet, for the righteous souls, who in God's footsteps tread,
With acts of kindness woven, and by faith's bright thread,
Their "Pay-Day Someday" gleams, a horizon gold and bright,
A promise of a kingdom, where day outshines the night.

Heaven awaits with open gates, for those who choose the right,
A realm of peace and joy, bathed in eternal light.
For every act of love, for each truth they uphold,
A jewel in their crown, more precious than gold.

So choose, oh mortal beings, the path you wish to walk,
In whispers or in wisdom, how you wish to talk.
For "Pay-Day Someday" comes, for all, for small and great,
Decide which legacy, you wish to create.

The tale of two eternities, woven by deeds and word,
The echo of our choices, in the universe is heard.
May we walk with courage, in the light of what's ahead,
Choosing paths of righteousness, by love and wisdom led.

John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Bust Your Britches

Busted Britches courtesy Biscuit T. Sims N5HBB Clinton, Mississippi
In the heart of the South, where the phrases run wild,
There's a saying that's tossed, by both adult and child.
"Bust your britches," they say, with a wink and a grin,
A testament to effort, skin deep and within.

It speaks of the labor, under sun's scorching light,
Of fields and of factories, through day and into night.
Where sweat beads like pearls, on the brow of the brave,
And the clothes on their back, are all but forgave.

For to "bust your britches," is not just to tear
A seam at the side, from wear and from wear.
It's the spirit of striving, beyond what's endured,
A metaphorical burst, of the strength that's assured.

It dances with humor, this phrase of the South,
A chuckle that rises, from deep in the mouth.
Yet, behind every laughter, there's truth to be found,
In the toil and the effort, where hope is unbound.

So next time you hear it, this saying with zest,
Imagine the trials, the ultimate test.
For "busting one's britches," in labor or jest,
Is a badge of one's mettle, in the South, it's expressed.
